WAILUA RIVER ADVENTURE - Our guide Zack was terrific. Funny, helpful and informative. Kayaking was enjoyable but harder than it looks. The hike to the waterfalls was easy and the water was clean and refreshing to swim in I highly recommend this experience. Book with Zack at Duke's Kayak

Fun adventure in Kauai - Great guide and beautiful scenery. Exceptionally wet weather only allowed us to kayak the river and not take the hike. Duke’s Kayak Adventures was honest and only charged us for a partial trip without us even requesting it. That’s impressive. I would highly recommend them.

Unforgettable Kayaking Adventure with Breathtaking Views and Exceptional Guide - Our kayaking trip was an absolute delight, largely due to the stunning scenery and our wonderful guide, Zac. From the moment we set out, the views were simply amazing, offering a spectacular panorama of nature's beauty that seemed to evolve with every paddle stroke. The accompanying hike was just as impressive, providing an invigorating challenge and the reward of even more incredible vistas.

Kayak and hike adventure! - Super fun adventure, the kayak and hike were far enough to feel like you accomplished something, but not so far that you were exhausted the next day. Zack our guide was super helpful and added so much information about the area. Great trip and one we would do again.

Hawaiian Brian for the win - We had a fabulous time despite decidedly sketchy weather. Hawaiian Brian was a fabulous guide. Fun, friendly, professional and full of great historical knowledge.

Great trip! - Our guide, Hawaiian Brian, was a delight and dealt well with our multi-aged family group, even though he was called in to sub at the last minute. He cut walking sticks for the older hikers, coached us through kayak handling, instructed us how to go through slippery mud so we wouldn’t slide, and kept us entertained the whole way! He also took great pictures of all combinations of family members at the falls!

Fun but a few things to know… - The waterfall was beautiful. We were there in the off season and yet there were still way too many people. The terrain is quite rocky (ankle breakers) and muddy and slippery. Don’t carry a lot of stuff with you as the dry bag gets heavy. We were hoping to learn about flora and fauna but that didn’t happen. I’d do it again but I’d change how I’d prepare for hiking part (I’d wear much better shoes - we wore water shoes.) Do not wear flip flops or sandals!! Overall it was worth it but remember that this excursion attracts a LOT of people in the on season.

Worth the effort - Kayaking was wonderful. Not easy when with little ones. Guide and trip overall were wonderful. Guide was late 20 minutes though with no real apology which was frustrating.
