Mount Waialeale is known as the wettest spot on earth with an average annual rainfall of approximately 450 inches. Most of the mountain rain drains into the nearby Alakai Swamp, home to several rare species of plants and birds. Wailua Falls is also known as Fantasy Island Waterfalls for their cameo appearance weekly in the TV series of the same name.
The legendary Na Pali Coast, with its dramatic cliffs chiseled by time and remote beaches is spellbinding no matter how many times you see it. This is the home of the legendary Bali Hai as seen in the 20th Century Fox movie, South Pacific.

- Weight Restriction: It is important that we have accurate body weight from every passenger. FAA regulations require all passengers to be weighed at time of check-in. Any passenger weighing 290 lbs or more will require a Mandatory Comfort Seat.
- Assisted Passengers: A portable lifting device is available for those customers needing special assistance. Please advise of any special requests.
- Scuba Diving: No scuba diving 24 hours prior to helicopter tour departure time.
- Children: A child 23 months or younger may fly at no charge and must sit on adult’s lap. Please provide child’s weight at time of booking. Children 2 yrs. and older must occupy a seat with seat belt on and are charged full fare.
- Check-in: Check-in is minimum 45 minutes prior to your tour departure time. For your safety and comfort, hats and over sized bags are not permitted on the flight line or in the helicopter. Please leave these items in your automobile. Bring picture I.D.
- All Flights Include: Ground safety briefing, pilot personal narration and choreographed music recorded on the live digital video, Stereo aviator headsets with individual volume control, custom built digital recording system, polarized bubble windows, air-conditioned climate control, custom interiors and much more!
- Routes & Flight Time: Sunshine does not fly any specific routes but has many sights within the area of a described tour that we intend to visit during a tour. Sights may vary due to weather. Flight times are estimates and may vary a few minutes.
- Actual Flight Video: A high-definition video of your actual flight narrated and orchestrated by your pilot is available on USB for purchase.
- Photography: Bring camera and wear a dark colored shirt to reduce glare on the plexiglass windows.

Highly Recommend - Our pilot, Erick, was friendly and easy to ask questions of. Gave us a great tour of this lovely island, and was safety conscious during the entire flight.

Memories of a Lifetime with Friends - We 4 friends reserved the helicopter for a private tour - rather expensive but oh so worth it! Two in our group had never done chopper flights so the calmness of the pilot's voice during his detailed narration of the tour as well as the flight done so peacefully was perfect. We saw numerous falls - large and small - over and inside the mountains and the Canyon walls; Na Pali coast was breathtaking! We all wished the ride had lasted longer. The staff at base could not be nicer and helpful in explaining and making sure that all prep was done perfectly.
One of the best highlights of our Hawaii vacation.

Once in a lifetime experience! - Thanks to Pilot Chrissy for an amazing experience that was safe, informative, and enjoyable. Her background as a marine pilot and calm, competent demeanor made me feel at ease on my first flight in a helicopter. Thanks to the staff who were so welcoming and friendly!

AMAZING!!!! - From Sandy at reservations to the 2 boys that were Simon the pilots right hand men, the experience was amazing. We had a great day to fly and Simon was great! The music playlist was good and commentary was interesting. The sights were incredible! I would highly recommend them!!!!

This helicopter has middle seats - We arrived and had to wait for a cruise boat couple so we knew we would be in the back of the helicopter. This was the only activity that I was capable of doing , zip lines were out for me , of course I got a middle seat hard to get any good pictures. So I tried to enjoy my surroundings the waterfalls were plentiful day after a big rain and rainbows everywhere. It was reasonably priced my Husband and Daughter enjoyed it . I didn’t get rainbow pictures my daughter did in fact I took 10 that were visible vs their 50 pictures there are 2 middle seats in back .

Disappointing helicopter experience - The woman at the desk was rude when we were trying to depart. She was yelling about not leaving the tent and going near the aircraft when we were trying to leave the premises. She did not apologize after she finally understood our intentions. On top of that, we were not offered the option to purchase photos that the crew took of us before the helicopter ride. Depending on which side of the helicopter you sit on, you might not get to view everything. There were members of our party who only saw the ocean for a significant portion of the ride. There was also a glare in the helicopter even though we all wore dark clothing as instructed.
