Fun family adventure - It’s just enough paddling to be enjoyable and not wear yourself out. Same with the hike. Our guide was helpful and enjoyable. He shared many thing about the history of the forest and its vegetation as we hiked. Unfortunately, if you’re not in the front half of the group you cannot hear him. I tried to post pics but the website kept malfunctioning. By the way, it’s the waterfall is not so “secret” as there was a crowd of people there😉

Phenomenal - Top notch guide named Khayman! He deserves a raise times 20!!!! Beautiful scenery for sure and swimming in the waterfall was surreal! Chacos or equivalent recommended. They won’t allow flip flops which makes sense they’re slippery on the slippery rocks and that wouldn’t be safe.

Kaiman rocks! Amazing Experience!! - I can not say enough good things about this excursion. I took my husband and 7 year old son and we all had a blast. My son was a bit nervous for the kayaks and our guide helped him feel so comfortable and excited about the whole experience. Kaiman was our guide and he was fun, knowledgeable, supportive, funny, and so dang cool. He knew all our names and engaged in conversation and banter with every person in the group - even the little kids. Super awesome guy. The hike wasn’t challenging and the terrain was beautiful and the waterfall at the end made the whole experience!! This excursion is a MUST!! * I recommend good water shoes for crossing the river and bug spray.

A workout - More strenuous than we thought, but grandma is 79 and she was able to do it. By the time we got to the waterfall, we were ready to cool off in the water. The guide was very helpful with assisting grandma.
