You are booking this tour through a THIRD PARTY. Dive Kauai is the activity Provider and we know how to run and operate scuba diving tours on Kauai. Viator is simply a third party booking system. Once you make your reservation with us, you will receive our very detailed confirmation email which will be your final confirmation for the tour. This email will outline all of the necessary information for the tour from us directly that will help to answer all of your questions, address our policies and provide helpful information for your upcoming tour. Viator simply doesn’t allow any space for this to happen prior to you booking. Again, the activity provider is Dive Kauai.

Thank you Georgia, and Kauai Dive! - We booked with dive Kauai for my second resort dive, and my 13-year-old daughter’s first resort dive. I was only nervous because I wanted my daughter’s first time to be amazing as it could be so she’d want to do it again. As it turned out, Georgia from Kauai dive was amazing! She made us both feel incredibly comfortable with both the concept of diving at the skills exercises. By the time we got down into the water, we both felt totally comfortable and had an amazing experience. Georgia guide us to the most amazing sites, so many turtles and varieties of fish. Before we knew it, our tanks were expiring we had to get out. Thank you Georgia for an amazing time! I highly recommend Georgia and Kawaii dive for non-certified diverse, who want to try it out.

Great experience with instructors.. problems with initial process - We lucked out that my wife and I were the only ones this day.. and we had two instructors! Dom and rooster were amazing! Thank you both for helping us having a great time!! Can’t wait to go again.
For the front office.. booking through this third party site.. we didn’t get the link to answer the medical questions until the day before our scheduled time.. and found out because of my wife’s migraine history she had to see a doctor.. now they booked us for following day to give us time to get an appointment. For the medical clearance.. but this is something that should be VERY clear in the description.. maybe even list the conditions that would require medical clearance so people can plan ahead.. had we not been able to get a doctor to sign off in one day.. we would have lost all the money we paid. With no refunds..
So that’s my suggestion.. include the medical questions from PADI that would require guests see a doctor before their dive. Thank you!

Extremely professional and safety conscious guide - Extremely professional and safety conscious. Great as a first time SCUBA experience or after a long time. Saw turtles, morays, trumpetfish and loads of other fish. Good first experience but likely better diversity elsewhere.

Wonderful diving experience - My father and I had a great time scuba diving for the first time. The instruction was great, and there was time to practice the skills learned. The dive lasted about 20-30 minutes for us, and is completely up to how much air you have in your tank. I was at half a tank when we stopped when my father had gotten low on air, but the experience could have easily lasted 40 minutes. We got to see an octopus, many sea turtles, and plenty of different fish. I highly recommend it.

Ocean fun - First time in an ocean. It was a very positive experience and a good time. The scuba dive instructor was actually from where we came and very informative and detailed oriented.

First time dive was a success! - Micah and Dom were excellent dive instructors! It was my first time doing scuba but my wife had been a bunch of times. Micah took his time with me and I had a great dive. My biggest fear was equalizing my ears but I was able to do that no problem. I’m definitely getting certified after this. Micah is an excellent instructor that can handle any skill level. We saw 3 turtles!!

Cool experience! - Our family of four enjoyed our scuba learning experience. The education was thorough and we were well supported with our instructor and additional staff taking photos. We saw a trumpet fish, eel, and a turtle swam right by us! Cool experience for sure! It would have been good to know that at the meeting point there is no building - just your vehicle, the scuba van with supplies, and a porta potty - right near the water access so convenient but no amenities.

Great refresher shore dive - Drew was a good instructor. The dive area of choice gets deep quickly which can be intimidating to some. There was quite a bit of wild life and interesting coral to see. The current/ wave action can be difficult for new divers. More time could have been spent getting used to breathing on the reg (ex. Staying in shallow water, sit and bresth). All in all, probably not the best experience for 1st time divers, but a perfect experience for those who haven't dove in a while.

READ THE CONTRACT AND FINE PRINT WITH DICE KAUAI-charged even though they did not let me dive! - BEWARE THE FINE PRINT! I was NOT provided the dive service but charged the money for the dive. When I arrived at the dive site in time I was told I needed a medical certificate - I had 24 hours to get the medical clearance. I have being dice for 30+ years and never had to provide a medical certificate at such short notice! And when called their local Kauai number I was tersely told by their support person that I should have read the fine print and they will Not refund the booking amount inspite of the fact that they were unable to let me dive! This is a spam and there are more such examples of non refund on non service provided by Dice Kauai. I was shocked but the incredibly poor customer service and rude “your responsibility to read the contract”. They obviously don’t care about customers when they refer the customer to the fine print.
