- 3118 Hoona Rd - Our Kauai Guided Shore Snorkel takes you on a 2 hour (from start to finish including check-in) guided snorkel with a certified dive instructor from the shore. There is NO Boat involved with this tour. Actual snorkel time is roughly 45 min-60 min. This adventure will have you snorkeling Kauai’s pristine south shore reefs and have you learning about our tropical fish, sea urchins and sea mammals. We are often greeted by a turtle nesting on the beach or a Hawaiian monk seal basking in the sun. What a wonderful experience from a distance, it is the law to keep within 50 feet of our endangered species. Learn more about our Hawaii ecosystem and identify an array of tropical fish. Beginners Welcome.

Additional Information
- Not for travelers exceeding 300lbs. Due to safety and physical constraints, we must follow a strict weight LIMIT of 300lbs or less.
- Not for travelers who cannot easily walk into and out of the ocean water
- Participants should be COMFORTABLE in the water. You don’t need to swim like an olympic gold medalist, but we will NOT be teaching you to swim either.

Informative, safe, fun - Matt was a great guide—especially for beginning and intermediate snorkelers. He is very safety conscious and knowledgeable. His explanations often involve a witty humor that will both entertain and inform.

Fun snorkeling without the boat - The snorkeling was great. Matt our guide was knowledgeable and led us to the right places to see some turtles and some different types of fish along the coral reefs.
This snorkeling was different than the boat snorkeling, but it was fun nonetheless.
I would recommend this snorkeling if boats are not for you.

Perfect experience!! - What an incredible experience! Izzy and Brett were fantastic guides, ensuring we not only had fun — got to see two turtles!! — but were very safe. They were especially wonderful with our 8-year-old daughter. Highly recommend!
