Jungle Queen Annie! - If you want a great afternoon that involves a beautiful adventure to a waterfall. Rainbow Kayak tours has it ready for you. We went on this tour and it was one of the best I've been on while traveling. We were greeted by our amazing guide and jungle queen Annie. She was the friendliest person I've met in a long time. She gave us great information about the tour and what to expect. The tour itself was kayaking up the Wailua river, it was relaxing and not difficult. After we reached the docking area we hiked for about an hour to the waterfall. Annie stopped to give breaks and to talk about the area. The hike has some areas that involved climbing but they are navigable. Once we reached the waterfall we were provided with homemade turkey sandwiches which my kids claimed to be the best sandwiches they have ever had and fresh fruit. Annie also helped with taking photos and telling stories. I highly recommend this adventure with Rainbow Kayaking. They are a small business on the island and make you feel like family.

Amazing hike! - Our guide, Reese, was awesome and made the trip enjoyable. We saw so much beautiful scenery along the way and he tought us about different plants and trees as well as areas where movies were made. The length of Kayaking and Hiking were just right and not too strenuous. The waterfall was amazing. The water was cold though so be prepared. :) Well worth the money!

Very Nice Kayak Trip and Hike - We really enjoyed this kayak trip and hike. Such beautiful scenery. And the waterfall was gorgeous. Due to the rain, the hike was slippery in spots, so be sure to have good hiking shoes on and we would recommend walking sticks. We enjoyed the light lunch and Thomas, our guide, was great....very friendly.

Good Excursion but Decently Technical - This excursion was fun but the description of what shoes to wear should state HAS to have tons of traction. I wore standard sneakers and the trail was extra muddy and slippery and I fell and was ok but our guide just left us behind and didn’t check to see if I was ok even when he was told I fell. Also on way back he walked so fast and didn’t realize other groups were getting between him and those of us near the back and just left us never checking to see if we were ok. Just felt he was more interested in talking than making sure we were good like the other guides were doing.

Disappointing - I really thought this would be more enjoyable than it was. Unfortunately our tour guide barely gave instructions on good techniques on how to kayak effectively and was no where to be seen most of time when rowing. He wasn’t checking on anyones wellbeing at all. The kayak part was very long and doing this back and forth after the hike was exhausting and stressful. To top it off they expected us to help them pick up all the kayaks and equipment and stack them onto the trailer before we all left. I felt that it’s not our job after paying so much for a tour to have to pick up twelve kayaks and all the equipment to stack before we leave.. That left a bad taste in my mouth. C it was kinda putting everyone in an uncomfortable position to have to work after arriving back. We are paying guests. They need to figure that part out. The sandwiches were also kinda gross with no flavor. It was more a “follow me” type experience. For the price I would not recommend
