- Riptides Shave Ice & Snacks Kauai - Our Kauai Guided Shore Snorkel takes you on a 2 hour (from start to finish including check-in) guided snorkel with a certified dive instructor from the shore. There is NO Boat involved with this tour. Actual snorkel time is roughly 45 min-60 min. This adventure will have you snorkeling Kauai’s pristine south shore reefs and have you learning about our tropical fish, sea urchins and sea mammals. We are often greeted by a turtle nesting on the beach or a Hawaiian monk seal basking in the sun. What a wonderful experience from a distance, it is the law to keep within 50 feet of our endangered species. Learn more about our Hawaii ecosystem and identify an array of tropical fish. Beginners Welcome.

- Not for travelers who are morbidly obese. Weight LIMIT of 299lbs or less. (No to 302lbs or 306lbs)
- Not for travelers who cannot easily walk into and out of the ocean water
- Participants should be COMFORTABLE in the water. You don’t need to swim like an olympic gold medalist, but we will NOT be teaching you to swim either.

Great Experience - We did the Epic self guided tour which was excellent. I don’t feel like we missed anything. Go see all of Kauai. It’s very doable. Beautiful Waimea canyon and waterfalls to snorkeling, kayaking and hiking. The Shaka guide was entertaining and very informative about the sites we were seeing. Directions were excellent.

Safety over profits - Unfortunately due to rough conditions our tour was canceled, but I really appreciate they put safety over money. We have young daughters who aren’t the strongest swimmers so really appreciate the judgment call. They offered to rebook or full refund.

This was our first time... - This was our first time snorkeling and our guid Ben was great he made sure we were safe and having a good time. I would highly recommend their tour!!!

An Exceptional Snorkeling Experience - Got to check off a bucket list item and got to do it with my two adult sons. We loved the quiet and beauty of the ocean just below the surface. Our guide Callie was amazing! She made it a wonderful experience.

Fish everywhere - We had a great time snorkeling with Benjamin and Izzy! Saw so many fish, a 7-11 crab and a turtle . They brought us to one of the best spots to snorkel and were informative and helpful
