The best trip ever! - This is the must do activity with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters. We had the best experience and weather that day. The pilot was super informative and took us to some of the best sites on Kauai. Super awesome and we rated this adventure a 10 being best out of all the activities we did.

Good views - Really fun helicopter ride. Our pilot was Robert. He was good. Our crew wasn't very talkative, so there wasn't a lot of info added. I enjoyed the ride, but my husband got sick bc he didn't get enough air. This is the way to see the island without hiking everywhere. My only issue was that I couldn't get as many great photos as I wanted (I'm a photographer) bc of the glare from the guy in front. I would've liked to be in the front where there was a full view. It was hard to see everything from the back. Robert did turn the helicopter around so both sides could see. I just didn't expect so much glare. I did appreciate that they worked with us on running behind for pre-flight instructions bc I had a medical issue that morning. I would do it again, but maybe see if we couldn't get in the front (I know there's a weight balancing thing, so I don't know if that could happen.)

Read the fine print - Be aware that they need to book a full flight before you can go. This meant we had to either change or time or buy out the other two seats. With that being said, the actual flight and views are amazing.

If you are unlucky and have middle seats, you see NOTHING - High price, but well we know that in Hawaii no one gives you anything for free. We purchase the tickets and are stunned when we discover that two of us have been positioned in the center where we can see ABSOLUTELY NOTHING (see photo as proof). For the price they charge EVERYONE should be able to have a window seat, so we paid €355 each to not see anything except the pilot's bald spot. They should charge less for the unfortunate people who are in the middle and they should specify in large letters that there is a risk of being in the middle and having a reduced view (because they weigh you down and decide at the moment who is in the middle, who in the seats window and who is extremely lucky and is in front, which obviously didn't happen to us), so there is no risk of having unpleasant surprises. Ah, icing on the cake: they tell you to dress in black to avoid seeing reflections in the photos, but with all the money they make they can't at least equip the vehicles with anti-reflection glass?! We dressed in black but no one said that we had to dress in black from head to toe (so the photos showed lovely reflections of our legs) apart from the fact that the pilot was wearing a black t-shirt but in any case the reflection also came from the windows of his arms...really bad service. Last joke, after having spent tons of dollars they tell us that they shot a video of the flight but... to get it you have to shell out another EIGHTY-FIVE DOLLARS... without words really. The only positive note, which makes me put at least two dots in the rating, is that the flight is truly magnificent because the island of Kauai is heaven on earth. If I were to ever return I would certainly purchase a flight without doors and windows (from another company) and above all with the absolute certainty of ALL WINDOW SEATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!
