- Spouting Horn - The journey continues to Kauai’s south side, passing through the renowned Tree Tunnel planted in 1912. In Poipu, the stunning Spouting Horn awaits, an extinct lava tube transformed into a water geyser. Witness the awe-inspiring force of nature as waves crash and water surges through the tube like a geyser. The guide will share the site’s legend, complete with sound effects.
- Kauai Coffee Company - The next stop is the enchanting world of coffee at Kauai Coffee Co., the largest plantation in the USA. Enjoy your pastries while sampling delicious, complimentary coffee at the visitor center. During the visit, stroll through the coffee tree garden and explore a wide selection of the freshest beans at the gift shop. Not a coffee fan? Try some ice cream or a cold drink at the snack shop.
- Waimea Canyon State Park - Waimea Canyon State Park, known as the “mini Grand Canyon of the Pacific,” is one of Kauai’s natural marvels. Admire this geological wonder from various viewpoints as the tour ascends the mountain. There will be stops at three different locations to capture photos of the Canyon from different perspectives, including the main lookout at 3,400 feet elevation. Take a break from driving and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Experience majestic beauty at its finest!
- Waimea - Around 12:30-1 pm, the tour heads to the picturesque Waimea Plantation Cottages, built in the early 1900s during the sugar plantation era. Overlooking the blue Pacific Ocean and surrounded by tropical trees, enjoy a delicious lunch at the renowned Chicken in a Barrel, featuring the island’s largest beer wall. After lunch, there’s an option to leisurely stroll through the beautifully landscaped property to visit Waimea Bay, one of the few black sand beaches, and Captain Cook’s first landing site in Hawaii.
- Hanapepe - The final stop is the charming and historic town of Hanapepe. Step back in time and walk across the famous swinging bridge, constructed in 1912. It’s a great place to relax and people-watch while enjoying freshly squeezed lemonade or shopping for wonderful souvenirs crafted by local artisans. For Disney enthusiasts, this town inspired the original film “Lilo & Stitch.”
