• Kukui Grove - Travelers will gather by the Kauai Bakery. Begin the day with a delightful introduction to the renowned Portuguese doughnuts, malasadas. Prepare for a tasty treat! Coffee and other savory snacks are available for purchase. Please arrive by 8:00 am to enjoy some coffee and pastries before the tour begins.
• Menehune Fish Pond - This is not just any pond; it’s a massive pond constructed in ancient times by Hawaii’s first settlers from the Marquesas Islands. Admire the stunning surroundings as you journey through the Kipu Kai area. Discover the intriguing legend of the Menehunes and the archaeological and cultural significance of the pond. Many Hollywood films have been shot here. There will be two stops for plenty of photo opportunities.
• Wailua Falls - Finally, it’s time to visit another waterfall, because one can never have too many waterfalls. The iconic Wailua Falls, featured in the opening scene of the Fantasy Island TV show, awaits. There will be ample time for photos, providing the perfect end to the tour.
• Lydgate State Park - Enjoy a leisurely walk along the path at the beautiful Lydgate Beach Park, where you can dip your feet in the famous Morgan Ponds and learn about the ancient temple of worship where Hawaiians greeted the rising sun daily, the city of refuge, and more. This is a relaxing walk suitable for all ages, with many photo opportunities.
• Opaekaa Falls - At this stop, visit two sites: Opaekaa Falls and the Wailua River lookout, located in Wailua town, where Hawaiian royalty once resided. Beautiful views and numerous photo opportunities await.
• Lydgate Farms Kauai Chocolate - Visit Kauai’s premier chocolatier and sample a variety of flavors that will delight your senses. All chocolate bars are made on the island from locally grown cocoa beans.
• Wailua Homesteads Park - Travel through the backcountry of Wailua Homesteads on the way to Kapaa town. Enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Waialeale, Kauai’s tallest mountain and the island’s center. Experience where locals live.
• Kapaa - Savor lunch in historic Kapaa town, offering a wide range of locally made food options, from food trucks to restaurants. Also available are fruit stands, smoothie and coffee bars, and shave ice. A love for food is shared here!
• Sleeping Giant Trail - Lastly, enjoy a scenic drive on Kapaa’s bypass road. Take in the views of the famous Sleeping Giant Mountain while hearing the tale of this mythical man who saved the day for the common people in ancient times.

• There will be short driving time in between our stops. However you will never spend more than about 25 mts in the car between stops.
• This tour takes place on the East side of Kauai in its entirety. You will visit the towns of Lihue, Wailua and Kapaa
• There will be plenty bathroom stops. However two of the stops do do have facilities
