- Waimea Canyon State Park - Known as the mini Grand Canyon of the Pacific, Waimea Canyon State Park is one of Kauai’s natural marvels. Admire this geological wonder from various viewpoints as we climb to about 3800’ in elevation. We’ll stop at several spots for fantastic photo opportunities. Experience majestic beauty at its best!
- Kalalau Lookout - Renowned as the valley of enlightenment, Kalalau is the largest and most stunning in the famous Na Pali coast. Due to mountain weather conditions, views at this lookout are not always guaranteed. We can only accommodate groups of up to 6 people here because the road conditions are unsuitable for larger vehicles.
- Waimea Pier - Explore Waimea Pier, a historically significant area. Walk down the pier and enjoy views of the Forbidden Island of Niihau and Waimea Bay, where the first Western explorers arrived in Hawaii. Waimea Bay also features one of our few black sand beaches.
- Hanapepe - Our final stop is the historic and charming town of Hanapepe, where you can support small local businesses, shop for Hawaii MADE souvenirs and art, cool off with a delicious locally made fruit popsicle, visit the famous Talk Story Bookstore for rare and antique books, and cross the swinging bridge built in 1912, if you dare!
- Koke’e State Park - At Koke’e State Park, enjoy a leisurely lunch at the Koke’e Lodge Restaurant. Their food and drinks are locally sourced, homemade, and delicious (not included in the tour price). Receive a 10% discount on your meal and at their retail shop. After lunch, you’ll have free time to explore the Koke’e Museum of Natural Cultural History, stroll through the beautiful grassy field surrounded by Sugi and Redwood pines, take a short and easy nature walk to learn about native flora, and/or feed the chickens.

During this excursion, you will explore some of the most stunning locations on Kauai, including an in-depth visit to Waimea Canyon and Kokee State Park. Additionally, you will tour the largest coffee plantation in the U.S. to taste the freshest beans. From canyons to lush sea cliffs, you will be amazed by the beauty and power of nature. You will travel back in time to visit charming towns like Waimea and Hanapepe, sampling delicious foods made with locally sourced ingredients along the way.
Captivating stories will be shared, but most importantly, we will ensure you laugh and enjoy the day. Allow us to show you Kauai through the eyes of a local.
- We provide pick up on all properties in Kapaa, Lihue, Koloa and Poipu town. Also at the airport and harbor. Provide a good phone number to contact you when booking. We will be contacting you the day before the tour via text with tour details, and to verify your pick up location
- If you are coming via ship and the ship doesn’t dock due to weather or other unforeseen events, We will honor a 50% refund or a full credit to be used within 12 months. All others No refunds pass the 24 hours prior to the start of the tour.
- Length of the tour depends on your pick up location: if starting in Kapaa and Lihue town, tour lasts app 8.5-9 hrs. If starting in Koloa and Poipu town, tour lasts app 7.5 hrs
- Kalalau lookout: We can only take groups of up to 6 people on our Honda Odyssey mini van to this lookout because the roads are too narrow for our bigger vehicles. Also the views at this lookout are not guaranteed because of constantly changing weather conditions up in the mountain.
