- Simonehoeve - Participants receive a comprehensive tutorial and live demonstration on the craft of clog-making, utilizing both traditional handcrafting techniques and modern machinery. Expert insights into the clog-making process are shared, and attendees are given the chance to carve their own wooden clogs from a block of wood individually (for groups of 4 or more) or in pairs (for groups of 12 or more). Additionally, participants have the opportunity to personalize their clog creations by engraving them.
Following the workshop, guests are treated to a guided excursion through the cheese farm, complete with samplings of various cheeses, traditional Dutch cookies, and fruit wines. The entire experience lasts around 2 hours, with the clog crafting and engraving portion taking up about 1.5 hours.
Visitors have the option to purchase food and beverages at the on-site restaurant.

interesting but tiring - it was interesting to experience using traditional tools to make a clog but too much time was needed and we were definitely not able to finish one in the allocated time. we were allowed to switch to painting a clog-shaped bottle opener halfway so we could at least bring a small souvenir home.
