While the Yala National Park safari didn’t quite meet expectations, it was a minor hiccup in an otherwise incredible adventure. The people of Sri Lanka, with their friendly smiles and eagerness to chat, left a lasting impression on me. From school kids to shopkeepers, everyone we met added a little something special to our journey.
