Highly Recommend - I booked with SLPD for our two week trip around Sri Lanka in January 24. I first made contact about a month out and Fazool helped me to determine the best option for our trip. He was very communicative and provided fast and clear responses. In the end we chose to take the same driver for the whole trip, which turned out to be the ideal option. We were met at the airport by Ifthika, our driver for the next two weeks. The car was a mid-size Toyota which looked pretty new and was very clean and comfortable. Ifthika was great, he was very responsive throughout and always turned up on time as agreed (over WhatsApp), often with a freshly washed car! He made many great suggestions along the route (several of which we took up), but was not pushy if we did not fancy something. Most importantly his driving skills are exceptional. For those of you that have driven (or been driven) around Sri Lanka it is not for the faint hearted, so having an experienced driver at the wheel helped us feel safe. Thanks to Fazool and particularly Ifthika, for helping to make our trip around Sri Lanka so special. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic! - We hired Dila to take myself, husband and 14month son around Sri Lanka. We landed early but he was waiting for us at the airport. Always punctual, polite, friendly. He has such fantastic knowledgable of the country, making suggestions to suit all 3 of us. (But happy to let us sleep as well) He was great with our son. Can’t recommend him enough. We have already booked him to take us back to the airport (with some stop offs on the way) Really great guy.

Wonderful 6-day tour for a group of seven - Where do I click to give these guys six stars? Shiyan at the office and Chinthaka at the steering wheel were both very helpful, professional and kind. We have booked a 9-seater Toyota with private driver for six days on a route of our own choice for our group of seven adults. The service was excellent: Chinthaka was always on time and we had the most amazing time going on our adventures but knowing that he'll be there to pick us up at the end. He went above and beyond to make sure we get the best experience of Sri Lanka. All I can say is: thank you guys and until the next time!

Great value and great driver!! - Quite simply, our driver Ishak was THE BEST! He was funny, kind and punctual. We wouldn’t have had such a great trip without our 5 days without him. Wonderful company and would be sure to use again next time we are in Sri Lanka.

Dila was a fantastic companion & driver! - We were very lucky to get Dila as our driver. We spent 9 days with him and he accommodated and took care of us very well. He was very early and punctual for all the times we set and in fact, was always patient with us when we were running late. He kept the car very clean everyday despite us coming back with sandy shoes from the safari or the temple grounds. Dila gave us ideas and highlighted some must-dos and brought us to local insider restaurants that did not disappoint. He was always very polite and respectful of us at all times. I would very gladly recommend my friends and family visiting Sri Lanka to utilize his service. When I return to Sri Lanka again I would also be glad to have him as my driver and companion. Overall, a reliable and trustworthy driver that will make a difference to your Sri Lankan trip! Ohh and did I mention also, he’s an amazing photographer? Some of our stolen moments by him!

Upal made our trip to Sri Lanka the holiday of a lifetime - Our trip to Sri Lanka would not of been the same if we hadn't met Upal. He arrived early to pick us up on our first day and from then on his time keeping was impeccable. He also takes great pride in his car and it was always clean and tidy. We had a rough idea of the places we wanted to visit but Upal made these experiences extra special by telling us the times we needed to be there, exactly where to stand and what to look out for. Without his local knowledge the trip would not of been the same. Upal was an incredibly safe driver (we had a very bad airport transfer with another company where the driver was struggling to stay awake) so rest assured you are in safe hands. When I was suffering from car sickness on the windy roads of Ella, Upal took it slow and almost instantly made me feel better. Upal becomes more than just your driver, he becomes your friend. I was sad to say goodbye and felt quite emotional when he left us! Upal - you made this trip one that we will never forget and for that we will be eternally grateful. Kat x

Great trip with Upul - We had Upul as our driver for a week around south Sri-Lanka for our honeymoon and from the welcoming and friendly greeting we got at the airport, we knew we’d be in good hands. Upul became like a friend to us and more than a driver - he got us safely from place to place but also told us about history, local culture and much more. We appreciated his knowledge and tips to make our trip even better. His time keeping was excellent - always early and waiting for us, with an umbrella if needed! Some drivers in Sri-Lanka (the buses!!!) are very dangerous, but Upul was extremely safe and skilled when it came to driving and knew every road and destination. He navigated the winding roads of Ella in the dark no problem and rocky roads of Yala! We’re very glad we booked with this company and found Upul. Absolutely would recommend requesting him for your trip - you won’t regret it. Thank you Upul for such a great experience and showing us Sri-Lanka!!
