Highlights
  1. Nagarkot-Changu Narayan Temple Trek
We embark on an hour’s drive early in the day to Nagarkot, situated 32 km to the east of Kathmandu Valley and perched at a height of 2100m. This place is revered by the locals as one of the most exquisite sites to witness the sunrise beautifully illuminating Mt. Everest and the majestic Himalayas. We then trek downhill, passing through charming villages embellished with locally-made stone houses adorned with ochre. After a trek of 3-4 hours, we arrive at the UNESCO-recognized Changu Narayan Temple which houses idols dating back over a millennium.

OR,

  1. Shivapuri Hills Trek
We journey to Shivapuri Hill, 9 km to the north of Kathmandu. Our 2-3 hour trek commences with a trip to the Narayanthan Temple, home to a large statue of Lord Vishnu resting atop a coil of serpents. Our route also includes the Shivapuri Conservation area and a visit to the Nagi Gumba, a nunnery practicing Buddhism. Upon reaching the summit of the hill, we are treated to a scenic view of the Himalayas blanketed in snow enveloping the valley. We then trek downhill for around 2 hours to reach the Kopan Monastery, a monastery designed in Tibetan architecture, established in 1975.

Great Kathmandu experience - I was able to see several sites around Kathmandu and do some day hiking in the 4 days I was there. Sabin and Dipesh accommodated my schedule and tailored the activities that I was interested in. A great experience with Dipesh- he is very friendly and knowledgeable!

ABC made easy - We walked Annapurna Base Camp and would like to thank Naba and his team for an incredible experience! We were a group of 4 with minimal hiking experience which our guide Shiva took in to account and catered for all levels. He was such fun and a joker and made the hard days go well! Our assistant guide Bishnu also meant that we were able to all go at our own pace. Is at the upper end of cost but the experience and time the took was worth it for novice hikers.

Fabulous trip to Gokyo Lakes and Gokyo Ri - I would highly recommend this 14 day trip (12 days of hiking)! It was so beautiful, and all the people were very kind. The places we stayed were comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the food. Our guide, Kewal, was super.
