Great stories and lots to see - Even though it was absolutely pouring rain, we had a great time walking through Kathmandu. I enjoyed the stories and background information about each place that we went. And of course, the monkeys at the temple are so fun to watch!

Enjoyable Tour with Knowledgeable Guide - I’m very glad I signed up for this tour. I considered walking to the temple on my own, but I’m happy I chose the tour instead. The guide, Santosh, was knowledgeable, friendly, showed us multiple sites on the way to and from the temple, and walked at a pace that suited our group. I definitely learned and saw more than I would have on my own!

Awesome monkey temple tour - We have spontaneously booked the monkey temple tour and were not disappointed! Our guide Santosh led us to some smaller temples before we climbed up the stairs to the monkey temple. He was really passionate about the history and culture of the places and gave us great insights into the background of the temples and stupas! Highly recommended tour, especially if you also want to get an impression of Kathmandu aside from the touristy places.

Fantastic experience - Santosh was a very knowledgeable and engaging throughout the 8 plus kilometres of the tour. The monkey temple was a sight to behold, made extra gnarly by dodging and trying to outwit the monkeys- who are quit assertive.

Fun and insightfull tour with Sujan - This morning I did another wonderfull Amazing Kathmandu tour. This time it was the walking tour to Swayambhunath stupa with guide Sujan. There were three of us on the tour. Sujan could connect with everyone on the tour despite our different backgrounds. He looked after us really well. His enthusiasm for the Stupa, the neighbourhood and Nepal was infectious. I cannot stress enough that this was a really well balanced tour. Sujan put great effort into explaining to us the religous meaning of the monuments, but there was also plenty of time to discuss politics or have chitchat. The tour was insightfull as well as much fun!

Great Walking Tour - We had good time with Santosh for a walking tour to Monkey Temple. He was very insightful with stellar storytelling skills. He also shared a lot of recommendation for our upcoming hiking trip and what's the best thing we can do in Kathmandu for the rest of our trip. Highly recommended!

A great way to discover the history, culture and architecture of Kathmandu. - I was fortunate enough to be the only one on the tour, so I had Santosh's full attention. He's a great guide. He filled the entire tour with facts about the history of the area and the various religious practices in Kathmandu. His English grammar, vocabulary and fluency are all excellent, though it took a bit of effort to tune into his pronunciation of a few words. As long as you're in the right mood for a hefty climb up a few hundred steps you'll get plenty out of this tour.

SwayambhuNath Walking Tour - Amazing Experience - Santosh was an incredible tour guide who had so much wisdom and knowledge. It made me realise that sightseeing solo without a guide to share insights and local knowledge just isn’t the same and I’ll be booking with Santosh again. Thank you so much and see you again soon!
