It is the starting point for the hike.\n- Shivapuri National Park - Begin your hike from the Budhanilkantha area.\nFollow the trail that leads you uphill towards the Shivapuri National Park entrance gate.\nEnjoy the scenic surroundings as you ascend.\n- Nagi Gompa - Once you enter the park, continue hiking along the trail.\nThe trail will take you through lush forests, passing streams and waterfalls.\nAfter some time, you’ll reach Nagi Gompa, a Buddhist monastery situated amidst serene surroundings.\nTake a break here, explore the monastery, and enjoy the panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley.\n- Nagi Gompa - Resume your hike from Nagi Gompa.\nThe trail continues uphill, offering beautiful views of the surrounding hills and valleys.\nAfter a steady climb, you’ll reach Baghdwar, which is the source of the Bagmati River and a sacred spot for Hindus.\nTake some time to rest and enjoy the peaceful ambiance\n- Bagdwar - After enjoying the views, start descending back towards Baghdwar.\nFrom Baghdwar, retrace your steps and hike back to the Shivapuri National Park entrance gate.\nExit the park and follow the trail back to Budhanilkantha.\nArrange for transportation from Budhanilkantha to Kathmandu.
