  • Swayambhunath - Swayambhunath, also known as the “Monkey Temple,” is a historic and sacred site perched atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. This ancient stupa is one of the most revered Buddhist shrines in the country and holds immense cultural and religious significance. The name “Swayambhunath” means “self-existent one,” reflecting the belief that the stupa has existed since time immemorial. Its striking white dome with a gilded spire is adorned with the iconic painted eyes of the Buddha, symbolizing his all-seeing wisdom and compassion. The surrounding area is home to numerous other shrines, temples, and prayer wheels, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere. Excellent choice - Very good arrangement and warm hospitality. It is a great choice for the first day in Kathmandu. You can quickly understand the local religion and culture. It is also very convenient to walk around the streets and alleys. The arrangement of the chartered car is very reasonable. The guide is very enthusiastic and professional, and the explanation is very clear. Highly recommended, great value for money. Recommended for tourists who come to Nepal for the first time to start with this tour.

Do Visit the UNESCO sites WITH a guide - Our guide Rajan was punctual & shared intimate details of all 4 UNESCO World Heritage Sites that we visited. Highlight was Pashupathinath Temple, despite being overcrowded we got into a fast path with detailed explanation at each point of worship. Cremation Grounds was a sad place, though seeing Holy Men was a unique experience. Rajan was flexible to guide us to, & explain Guhyeshwari Shaktipeeth Temple. Thanks a Mil !! Architecture at Patan Kings Palace Museum was Superb

If you have 1 day to do a tour - do this one. - Crash course on Kathmandu! Ram was a great guide and taught us so much about the culture, religions, and history of the Kathmandu Valley. All the sites were amazing to see, but our favorite parts were actually things not even listed on the itinerary! Ram took us to a see a family who has been making healing sound bowls for generations where we got to learn about and experience that directly from them, as well as an art school that taught us about mandalas and so much more. 10/10 highly recommend.

GO ON THIS TOUR - Ram was an amazing guide and thoroughly explained each of the sites we visited, as well as some in transit. Moreover, I was having issues getting cash out and he helped me through the process of making that happen, without question. I would recommend this company and guide to anyone!

It was efficient. - The tour started at 10am, and they came to pick us up at the hotel 5 minutes early. It was great that we were able to efficiently tour the main tourist sites in Kathmandu. The guide gave us detailed explanations at each spot, and also answered our questions properly. We were also glad that they were able to accommodate our requests to go around a bit more, or to visit that building over there. As it was a private tour, we were able to take our time to explore the area.

Great tour with Hemant - We had a great day exploring Kathmandu with Hemant. He taught us a lot about the sites and the surroundings. The tour was well organized and we were driven around in a clean car with a good driver. Hemant even helped us negotiate prices in the market. I recommend going early to beat the traffic.

Great firsr day tour in the city - I enjoyed the tour very much with Hemant. He is knowledgeable and friendly. I took the latest afternoon tour and we will not able to finish all the sites so Hemant agreed to take me the next day to the final site. I recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting for the first time.

Great morning touring the different sites. - Very good trip. Ramhari was our guide for just two of us. It was well paced, not too fast so we could relax while we visited each site. He gave us information about each place and was very kind. We were picked up at 7.30am and were finished by 2pm. You still need to pay for your entry fees for each place but they’re not expensive.
