- Trail to Phulchowki Mai - We will meet here or we will pick you up from your hotel inside Kathmandu Valley. Then we will drive to Godawari by private vehicle. We will Hike to the top of Phulchowki hill via Godawari forest. Spent some time there and return back

Phulchowki Hiking offers a delightful day hike, beginning with a one-hour drive followed by a 4-5 hour trek to the nearest mountain standing at 2760 meters. Phulchowki, meaning ‘Garden of Flowers,’ is situated 14 kilometers southeast of Kathmandu and is renowned for its rich flora and birdwatching opportunities. The hill is home to 570 species of flowering plants and hosts one-third of Nepal’s bird species. In spring, the trail is beautifully adorned with Rhododendrons, Nepal’s national flower, showcasing the path in its full glory. At the summit, visitors will find the Phulchowki Mai shrine, adorned with Tibetan prayer flags, adding a spiritual dimension to the experience.
Phulchowki Day Hiking Itinerary:
- Hotel pick-up and drive to Godawari (45 minutes)
- Hike to Phulchowki Mai (3-4 hours)
- Lunch at the hilltop (1 hour)
- Descend to Godawari (2 hours)
- Drive back to Kathmandu (45 minutes)
