Unforgettable Manaslu Trek with Magic Nepal! - I had an incredible experience trekking the Manaslu Circuit with Magic Nepal! Everything was organised perfectly in advance, which made the entire journey smooth and stress-free from the very beginning. A huge shout-out to our amazing guide, Bishal, and our friendly porter, Rajiv. They were both extremely helpful and attentive throughout the trek — always making sure we were comfortable, finding great tea houses along the way, and checking in on how we were feeling each day. Their kindness and positive energy made the experience even more enjoyable. One of the highlights for me was celebrating my birthday on the trail — they even surprised me with a cake! It was such a thoughtful gesture and truly made my day unforgettable. 🎂 The scenery, the challenge, the cultural immersion — it was everything I hoped for, and more. I can confidently say that Magic Nepal exceeded my expectations and helped make a lifelong dream come true. Highly recommend Magic Nepal to anyone planning a trek in Nepal — you’ll be in great hands! 🙌

A Great Company for a Demanding Trek - Magical Nepal did a fantastic job. This was my first time doing any sort of multi-day trek and Manaslu was a daunting place to start. Magical Nepal was extremely responsive in the planning process and answered all questions in a way which helped me prepare well for the trek. There were a couples times where due to our travel arrangements we were late getting into Kathmandu, and they went out of their way to make sure we had someone to help us at the office. Pemba was the primary guide for our trek and we were lucky to have him. He was extremely knowledgeable about the route and gave us a clear overview each night of what to expect for the next day and how to pack appropriately for it. He had the calm and steady energy of a man who has seen it all before, which was grounding as we ventured well away from the beaten track. We were also fortunate to have Woeser as an adjunct guide. She was kind and attentive to our needs. I much appreciated her guiding me through appropriate hiking form and breathing technique as we got to higher altitudes. We didn't make things easy for them either. They managed us being sick, having different default travel paces, and one group member getting blisters bad enough that he lost most of the skin on one of his toes. They helped us through medication, pre-planning, and finding a horse to rent in order to preserve the remaining toe skin. I got the impression that they would handle anything we could throw at them well. I would highly suggest asking to take a dip in the river early in your trek. The day you can actually dip in is early, so ask early. I would also highly suggest the optional Pungyen Gompa acclimatization hike. It was unique, and it would be easy to miss if you wanted to push for Manaslu basecamp. I'm glad Pemba suggested we do it. Personally, I could have skipped the Tibet border hike, though several others in my group thought it was interesting geopolitically. Expect basic food and basic accommodations. There are no fancy options this far off the beaten trail, and you will be roughing it. I hope you enjoy Dal Bhat. The distances listed on Magical Nepal's website are accurate on the map, but with the small zigs and zags in the trail we found that we were often walking longer than the itinerary suggests. I would plan to walk a few km more, particularly on the long days. Magical Nepal themselves are eager to please and improve their experience. They have exactly the type of mentality you want when you are putting your wellbeing in someone else's hands. This was a truly unique experience in my life. I would highly suggest going with Magical Nepal if you are going to do the Manaslu trek.

Trekking in a Peaceful Bubble in Magical Nepal - Magical Tsum Valley and Manaslu trek. The organization from the office was done well, taking care that we only brought what was needed, and provided us with sleeping bags, down jacket, micro spikes and trekking poles. They were going out of their ways to be helpful, with clear communication. Our guide Shiva was always there for us, meeting and exceeding all our needs, keeping our dal bhat plates full and booking tea houses in advance during peak season, securing good rooms, food and providing us with security and opportunities to enjoy the trekking itself and the peaceful daily rhythm. The communication was overall good, going well in clear and simple english. Tsum Valley was a peaceful place and looked to be 20 years behind the tourism development of Manaslu. If doing it again, leaving more time for discovering less walked trails, with towns and views outside the tourist tracks would be something of interest. All in all it felt like trekking in a comfortable and safe bubble, made possible by good organization and guiding.

Fantastic Magical Nepal - I cannot recommend Magical Nepal enough. Our guide, Ang Jeeva Sherpa, was simply wonderful. So friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and hard working. Nothing was too much trouble. Always with a smile on his face. Our Sherpas, Ngima Lama, Nima Lama, and Pasang Sherpa were all fantastic. How they carried our heavy bags day in day out, I'll never know. Again, always with a smile. We were so lucky to have the Magical Nepal team. Thank you.

Magical Nepal - Magical Nepal let me customise my trek and make it 10 days as I had completed other treks in Nepal before. My Manaslu trek was an incredible experience from start to finish, made even more memorable thanks to our amazing guide, Bishal and our Porter Rajan. From the moment we set off, he went above and beyond to make sure we were safe, comfortable, and enjoying every moment. His knowledge of the trail, local culture, and mountain life was outstanding, and he always had a calm, reassuring presence no matter how tough the day got. We visited the trekking office in Kathmandu and got the itinerary. We also opted for private jeeps which made the journey easier. If you’re planning to trek Manaslu, I can’t recommend Magical Nepal highly enough.

Just book it!! - Wow what an experience! Fabulous organization, fantastic guide (we love you KP!), amazing group and scenery. A great perk of the website is it allows you to see who you will be trekking with. It meant our group were late 20s to 30s (1 in their 40s) all fit and keen to meet and chat to people from around the world. It made the hike a really fun and enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this hike as it’s challenging however you see a wide range of landscapes, animals and mountains. We experienced 33 degrees C sunny days, a snow storm, rain, cloud, you name it. All the tea huts were reasonable, decent food and tea options.

Manaslu Circuit Trek - I can without a doubt say that I would highly recommend Magical Nepal to anyone planning on trekking in Nepal. The office team, our guide Mitra and porter Lalit all went above and beyond to give us the best experience possible! Mitra was very friendly and always listened to our needs, concerns and queries. He made the experience very enjoyable from start to finish. Lalit was always willing to assist us all, and always had a smile on his face despite carrying around 20kg throughout the whole 2 weeks. I will definitely be planning my next trek with the Magical Nepal team when I next return!
