An Amazing Langtang Valley Trek - Just finished the Langtang Valley Trek with Nepal High Trek & Expedition and it was an unforgettable experience My guide, Rajan, was knowledgeable and friendly, while my porter, Aita, was incredibly helpful and hardworking. The scenery was breathtaking, with stunning mountain views and picturesque villages. Nepal High Trek & Expedition did an excellent job organizing the trek, from accommodations to meals. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore the Himalayas.

Thank you Nepal High Trek for such an amazing experience in Langtang Valley! - I had the most amazing time on my trek through LangTang Valley and added Yala peak! Denja was my guide and he was so helpful, kind and knowledgeable on the area and trail; always making me feel super comfortable and very well looked after - he even helped carry some of my gear. It was so nice to get to know Denja along the trail, and learnt a lot about Nepali culture and the area - and he was great at spotting animals and showing me! The guesthouses, meals and trekking path were all chosen really well and very nice and comfortable. My trekking package included food, and Denja always gave me a lot of snacks and fruit throughout the day and after meals which was a really nice addition and it was great to have everything included. Also the climbing guide chosen to help me summit Yala Peak was very knowledgeable and kind - and the tent set-up there was very comfortable (they r ven had a kitchen tent!) I only booked a few days before leaving and Anjan was so helpful, meeting me and answering my questions and helping me organise my trek very last minute. I would really recommend Nepal High Trek, their service is super warm and everyone I met from the company including other guides on the trail were extremely friendly and kind. I’ve done other treks in Nepal whilst here - but the service of Nepal High Trek has been by far the most hospitable and generous! Thank you Denja and Anjan for such an unforgettable experience :))

This did the trik - It seems this trek is equivalent to Annapurna Base camp (not circuit) and less difficult than circuit, Manaslu and Everest base. If you're considering doing any trek you are likely fit enough for this trek. Although I'd not classify it as 'beginner's' it is doable for anyone with a reasonable degree of fitness. You absolutely do not need to take altitude tablets on this trek, I assure you however you will experience some mild altitude symptoms at the top (everyone does, anticipate it mildly after 3200m, and progressively a little more partic over 3800m). Give thought to cutting the last day short and encompassing the last day of descent with a jeep ride back to Kathmandu rather than staying the extra night although there will be some rush and cost associated with this. Anjan the owner is extremely patient with questions and doubts as are the lovely guides (Sap - a sweetheart) the cost is good value and there's a decent sense of accomplishment and peace at the end of it. They provide you with a walking stick - take it for god sake. You have to pay extra for a porter - most people do unless you are abnormal. Dhal Bhaat becomes reasonably inedible towards the end we found but you can get inventive with your meal choices to still enjoy the generous portions you receive on the mountains. Day 1 - transit day, 6hrs or so of RIDICULOUSLY bumpy road as the result of a corrupt local government. It is part of the adventure and skillfully done by formula one drivers. When you arrive at first camp, the village is sent in a valley and you can enjoy a nice quick hike there. Day 2 - the first day starts off on a dusty road for an hour and then a grueling 6hr ascent occurs this is the hardest day out of the way first. the route is broken up with beautiful scenery the whole way Day 3 - the second day of hiking is also reasonably intense but more interesting and pretty through waters and forests, it starts to get a little colder having been bizarrely quite warm the prior days. Day 4 - a shorter first part to the day have you drop your bags at the hotel and then ascend a 4400-4700m hill, it's tough going but necessary with a wonderful view at the end. Do not miss this. You can do a further day which looks even more spectacular although we needed to cut our days down. Day 5 - descent happens, this is the longest day of the trek 26k+ and a 1300m decline. It's bizarrely 'fine' just long take regular breaks and have a chat or two to break up the day Day 6 - We walked the rest of the descent down and then got in an even bumpier ride to Nepal (only took 4h30 down!) to shorten the time. This is the best of the treks you can take in Nepal if you are short on time but want to do a respectable hike (day trips don't count!). Overall would recommend the company and the trek.

Amazing first high altitude experience - I did the 8-day Langtang Valley Trek with Nepal Hightrek and it was an amazing experience at a competitive price (650 USD). I was not picked up on arrival and had to take a taxi from the airport, maybe owed to a delayed flight, yet everything else was smoothly organized. I met anjan for a short briefing and borrowed crampons (not needed as i did not reach the snow) and walking poles (highly recommeded) in a nearby shop upon his advise. After a 7 h adventurous Jeep drive, the trek finally started. My guide Rajendra did a great job! I would not have noticed it was his first tour as a guide after acquiring his licence, had he not told me on the trek. He was well prepared and very knowledgable about the area and explained everything he knew about nature, the local Tamang culture and Buddhism. Although it was high season and most teahouses were fully booked, he always managed for us to get a place to sleep and was very keen on making the trek for me as enjoyable as possible. Thanks to Rajendra I had deep insights into Tamang traditions and their way of living and he made my trek an unforgettable experience. On the hike to Tserko Ri (4950m) I had to turn around a few hundred metres from the top as the altitude did not feel very healthy anymore, an interesting physical experience (for a young man of medium fitness level). Finally some advise: Ascend slowly. Drink lots of water (bottled water is getting more expensive the higher you get ~400 NPR/litre in Kyanjin Gompa). Sun is strong at high altitude. A few chocolate bars are nice to have (you can buy snacks on the way). If you want to have cellular network choose a nepal telecom SIM card as NCell does have no network in the area at all. Wifi is available at most places, however with sometimes unreliable connection. I could charge my phone in every accomodation, so I did not need my power bank. I can highly recommend the Langtang valley trek with Nepal Hightrek. A big thank you to Anjan and Rajendra!

Amazing Trek in the Langtang Valley - I had an amazing time doing the Langtang Valley Trek with Nepal High Trek. The itinerary was great, with very doable distances between the various guest houses. The guest houses were clean and the staff was always welcoming. The scenery was splendid (see photos). My guide Buddhi Waiba was very polite and flexible. For instance, he accommodated a request I had of modifying our planned itinerary on the last day. He was also making sure that I took sufficient break to remain hydrated. Because of him, I got to see and summit Kiangjin Ri, which was gorgeous. I highly recommend booking a trek with him!

Amazing family adventure - Langtang Valley trek was an absolutely amazing experience. Our guide Nabin was fantastic! He provided interesting information about Nepalese culture and heritage throughout the trip and helped us spot monkeys, deer, and other animals throughout the journey. Nabin was also excellent with our kids (ages 9 and 12). He made sure to hold my youngest kid’s hand on any areas with difficult footing. He always had a smile and kept the mood light. We also had two amazing porters - Tenzin and Tarjee. Both were very friendly, extremely polite and excellent with my kids as well. This was our first time trekking in Nepal and are so glad we chose Nepal High Trek. Very easy to work with. They made all accommodation arrangements and obtained necessary trekking permits. Meals and fresh fruit daily was included in cost. The trek was beautiful with changing scenery throughout.

Great trip with Nepal High Trek - We did the Lang Tang Valley trek with Sap and Tarjay. It was a great trip and we really enjoyed it. The Valley is beautiful, starting low and heading up to a barren, beautiful landscape with yak, mountain goats, and jagged mountain tops. As a guide, Sap was excellent. He met us at the airport with a smile and led us through 8 days of walking, climbing, guest houses and meals. Tarjay made it easy for us, by carrying most of our gear up and down the valley. Everything was booked for us, including hotels and travel. They made it easy and fun.
