Indra Chowk is an area lined with residential neighborhoods and bustling local markets selling fruit, vegetables, spices and stunning wares made of brass, bronze and copper.
- Kathmandu Durbar Square - With your guide, continue exploring the area of Kathmandu Durbar Square, home to the living goddess “Kumari”, and admire the UNESCO World Heritage Site listed area. Learn about the historical and architectural significance of Durbar Square, including the Hanumandhoka Royal Palace Complex which was the royal Nepalese residence until the 19th century, and the Kumari Chowk where the living goddess “Raj Kumari” is kept.
After that, dine on a traditional spread of local Nepali cuisine in New Road, Kathmandu’s largest market where you will find locals and visitors both enjoying some recreational shopping.
