My favorite day tour in Nepal! - I went on multiple amazing day trips in Kathmandu valley, but this was my favorite. Seeing multiple major sites through the lens of daily life and the Nepali people’s inclusive approach to spirituality, enhanced my understanding of the sites and what the sites mean to the people living nearby. My guide, Sandesh, was terrific — his knowledge, experience, and insight made this tour enlightening, enjoyable, and a highlight of my trip. In the days after the tour, I found myself reflecting on what I had learned on the tour and shared some of it with others I met. If you are interested in a deeper understanding of life and spirituality in Nepal, I wholeheartedly recommend this tour and Sandesh as an outstanding guide!

Personal journey through Kathmandu with Sandesh - I recently had the privilege of taking the “Life and Spirituality in Kathmandu” private day tour with Sandesh, and it was truly one of the most meaningful travel experiences I’ve ever had.
As a solo traveler, I deeply appreciated how warm, insightful, and attentive Sandesh was from the very beginning.
His deep respect for local traditions and the way he weaved spirituality into each stop made the experience incredibly enriching. He was also very open to questions and tailored the pace to my interests, allowing time for reflection and genuine conversation.
This wasn’t just sightseeing — it was a personal journey into the soul of Kathmandu, guided with care and authenticity. I came away not only with beautiful memories and photos, but with a deeper understanding of the culture and people.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for more than just the typical tourist experience. And if you have the chance to go with Sandesh, consider yourself very lucky.

- Kathmandu valley local experience tour - I had a great time exploring around Kathmandu through iTourNepal. The activities they organized were very exclusive and full of local experiences. First of all, a day tour around the UNESCO heritage sites was truly a great introduction to Nepal's rich culture and spiritual practices. We went to Patan, Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath, and each of them was a relaxed, hidden cultural and spiritual gem in the hide of a bustling city.
After a couple of days exploring Kathmandu, we went on a hike from Nagarkot to Changunarayan. The view of the lush valley and verdant layers of mountains was brilliant. The walk was pleasant and a great warm-up before going on a big trek. I liked observing the self-sufficient villages with charming people and their daily chores. Terraces glistening with crops and a garden with all kinds of vegetables and fruits. This is the best way of escaping the city and connecting with nature. After a hike, we went to Namobuddha, and iTourNepal organized a stay in the monastery. The monastery is located at the pristine hilltop overlooking the sweeping valley and the Himalayas. The tranquility and spiritual vibe of the place were rejuvenating and were a great spiritual retreat. Wake up to the sounds of Buddhist prayers and the gentle morning light was something I will always cherish.
Overall, the experience of medieval cities, the beautiful hike, and the spiritual experience made my trip one of the best I've ever had. If you are looking for an adventure that balances nature and culture with local experiences, I highly recommend Rabi at iTourNepal.

Awesome and in-depth tour of Kathmandu - Recently I did a Life and spirituality tour of Kathmandu with Indra as my guide. With 25 years experience in Nepal tourism, Indra has extensive knowledge of many aspects, as well as patience to answer all kinds of questions relating to cultural, historical and political situations of Nepal.
Furthermore, I am grateful that they could adjust the itinerary a bit to meet my extra demands since I had already visited Pashupatinath Temple.
A real learning and enlightenment opportunity for any travellers to Kathmandu valley. Highly recommended!

Yet another great tour with Itournepal: Pashaputinath & Boudha - I did another part of the life and spirituality tour with two friends completing all the main heritage sites of Kathmandhu now with itournepal. A 4 walking tour to Boudha and Pashupatinath was our itinerary. Is it really worthy it to go with a guide to Pashuputinath so that the ritual process and its significance can be explained as you watch it. And although I have been to Boudha many times of course this time I went places I never have before. Once again, I highly recommend the life and spirituality tours from itournepal. Guided Kathmandhu is certainly worth it.

Great tour, better guide - This is an amazing tour. My guide, Sandesh, was very knowledgeable and kind. We talked at great lengths about Buddhism and Hinduism. He also educated me quite a bit about Nepal's political history. I would highly recommend this tour.

First time in Nepal but hopefully not my last! - Rabi arranged a number of one day short treks for me and a two day tour of Kathmandu. These were either led by Rabi or Prabin. Both are excellent, experienced guides. They both have great expertise and are determined to ensure visitors have a rewarding time. The tours were always well planned and using a local driver meant a great many sites could be visited in a single day without ever feeling hurried. Do not hesitate to use the services of I Tour Nepal - I doubt there is a better small trekking company in Kathmandu!

An excellent guide, an excellent day - My partner and I booked this tour for the one full day that we were in Kathmandu and were not disappointed. Our local guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating, answering any questions we had about any topic related to the area. We were very impressed with his knowledge and blown away by the local things he showed us including the local monasteries and temples (in addition to the larger sites listed). We would both HIGHLY recommend booking this tour with this guide. It is a full packed day, so you should leave your whole day open to enjoy when booking).
