Climbing this peak gives the best satisfaction every amateur and the serious climber can dream of. If you are seeking the thrill of adventure and wish to widen your experience towards peak climbing, this is the mountain for you.

We head for Island Peak Climbing after the essential climbing practice course which is briefed and instructed by our Climbing Sherpa on various aspects of climbing techniques. Your historical effort to summit the peak will be rewarded with probably one of the best panoramic views in the world as you feel Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and Makalu are almost touching the tip of your nose. Descending with a sense of achievement, our route takes us into many cultural sites, such as Pangboche, a traditional Sherpa village Tengboche famous for its ornately decorated Tibetan monasteries and Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa Capital and cultural center of Khumbu.

Great climb of Island Peak - Had a great experience climbing Island Peak! Our trekking guide Raj was with us 90% of the trip and he made every day a joy. Always making jokes and telling us about the environment we were in. Our porter Krishna was very strong, we couldn't have done it without his hard work. The day we actually climbed Island Peak we were guided by the expert hands of Pemba. He kept us going when we were feeling depleted. I'd also like to mention two other guides from Ace we met on the trip, Madan and Kishur, both very nice people. This is my second time with Ace, and would definitely recommend other on going on a trip with them!

Perfect team - Amazing company, was very responsive with any questions before trip. After arriving to Kathmandu, did not have to worry about anything. Team (Raj, Chrishna and Pemba) helped all the way to peak and back with good sense of humour. Couldn't done without them. Tea houses on the way are very comfortable and food is just amazing. Thank you everyone!
