Nepalese food - how to make? Try it here! - The Cooking class in Kathmandu is one of the programs offered by the Women empowerment project. It is an amazin experience because we can learn about the Nepali food, how to make the Nepal's most famous dish - the Momo and also their special Masala Chai recipe. The teacher and all her staff were very kind on gave us some knowlegde about nepalese food. And at the end, the best: we could taste the real nepalese Momo. I super recommended!!

Become a momo master - The cooking class was a memorable and educational experience with great guides and experience of local culture. We were provided with a very knowledgeable teacher who makes Momo making look easy, but helped teach us her skills. We made three different dishes, made chai (or chia in Nepali) which was delicious and enjoyed our meals with members of the woman’s empowerment group. I highly recommend this class to travellers, both solo and groups and I’d like to warmly thank the hosts for such a great day.

Best Momo's experience in Kathmandu - It was great! The teacher (AKA the Momo Queen) is so good and explicative. The entire team made our experience very nice and the Momo we made were very good. We made buff meat Momo's, potato's Momo's and veggies Momo's. All of them with different shapes and difficulty. The place is also a beautiful family house near the monkey temple. Had a really great time and definitely would recommend to everyone who wants to learn how to make masala tea and Momo's, and of course to eat them!!

A meaningful activity you can do in Kathmandu. - It was a wonderful experience, the whole process was full of fun and we love the idea of empower women's voices through the cooking class. The staff are super friendly and we are happy to learn some local culture and the money we paid is actually helping the centre a bit. Definitely recommend people who want to help the disadvantaged group and at the same time, learn to cook Momo, the most traditional Nepal dumpling if you visit Kathmandu.
