An awe-inspiring, unforgettable, once in a lifetime experience! - We completed the Everest Base Camp Trekking tour (14 days/13 nights) in early June. We had Ram as our guide and Bikash as our porter. Ram is a friendly and accommodating guide, making us feel welcome when we arrived in Kathmandu, throughout the trek, and until we left. His knowledge of the region is amazing, providing us with lots of information about the history and culture of the Sherpa people, Nepali culture and customs, and on the region itself. He made us feel safe throughout the journey. He always checked on us to see how we were feeling, if we needed a break, etc. Bikash is our super porter! He would encourage us along the way, and give us some good advice. Thank you for carrying our belongings! The journey to and from Base Camp was challenging but super rewarding. We got to see some of the most spectacular views of the Himalayas while trekking in different environments, and appreciate some things that we would not usually think of. We did a sunrise hike to Kalapathar - and were rewarded with a magnificent sunrise and breathtaking views of the mountains including Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse and Lhotse. Reaching Base Camp was an accomplishment in itself, and it was fascinating to know that we were walking on a glacier! The tea houses were comfortable, and the itinerary was well-paced, allowing us to acclimatise properly (the hiking distance and time per day were reasonable and we got plenty of rest). Some tips for when you embark on this trek: bring light and warm clothing, rain gear, altitude sickness pills, sun protection, water purification/filters and body wipes (for when there is no running water). Make sure you take it slowly as altitude sickness is real. An awe-inspiring and unforgettable experience, I definitely recommend anyone to do this trek if they want a once in a lifetime experience.

Amazing Adventures in the Himalayas - We recently completed the Everest Base Camp Trekking tour (13 nights/14 days) with Ram as our guide, and it was an unforgettable experience. Ram's expertise and knowledge of the region were exceptional, providing us with invaluable insights and making us feel safe throughout the journey. The trek itself was challenging yet incredibly rewarding, with breathtaking views of the Himalayas, glaciers and a sense of accomplishment upon reaching Base Camp. The tea houses were comfortable, and the itinerary was well-paced, allowing us to acclimatise properly. Our porter Bikash was fantastic and very helpful, always checking in on us and providing us with great tips. Some handy ideas on what to bring: light and warm clothing, rain gear, altitude sickness pills, sun protection, water purification/filters and body wipes (for when there’s no running water). I highly recommend this trekking tour for anyone looking to embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Incredible!! The BEST trek company for one of iconic treks of the world!! - This world-class trek through the Everest region is absolutely breathtaking and awe-inspiring! There’s a spectacular vista and new encounter around every corner that’s even better than the last one, and yet this trek is so much more than the vistas. The Nepali mountain culture, history, and hospitality (in the village tea houses, as they’re called) and the Buddhist tradition that goes back many centuries were both highlights and captured our imaginations and attention as much as the beauty of the region. This is one of the iconic treks of the world, and it feels like it. The vistas of Everest from different vantage points never get old. And best of all, there are no cars or scooters to compete with - the area is still remote and relatively undeveloped. Outside of the helicopters for emergencies, all transportation is by human porters or caravans of livestock like mules and yaks. Ram and his team are incredibly professional and service-oriented and go out their way to make your trek memorable and joyful. We have only the best things to say about the entire team who supported us. Our guide Chandra and porter were the epitome of professional and dedicated to us and our needs for the entire 15-day trip. You can’t do better than Himalayan Trekking Path for this trek! One tip: It’s worth the extra two days to include the remote valley of Gokyo and hike Gokyo ri to see sunrise over Everest and then take the rugged and high Cho La pass over into the Khumbu valley. The Himalayan high country and passes will take your breath away! One warning: Even for two fit triathletes, we were challenged by the highest altitudes - do not underestimate the effect of high altitude (~18,000 ft at the highest point of the trek) on the body. Make sure you condition your body for the very high altitude in addition to cardio fitness, as even excellent sea level cardio fitness does not translate to altitude acclimatization or conditioning. Unless you have done lots of high altitude trekking and are comfortable with it, you should plan on bringing a prescription of diamox and being on it the entire time you’re in the Everest region.

Top-Notch Trekking Adventure with a Personal Touch - My partner and I recently returned from a breath-taking 15-day trek in the Everest region, covering Gokyo Lakes, Cho La Pass, and ECB with Himalayan Trekking Path. Ram and his company made the logistics of the trip seamless and easy. Our knowledgeable guide, Chandra, took great care of us while on the trek. Along with our porter, the four of us became a tight-knit crew together for the 15 days trek. This is my second time in 1 year trekking with Himalayan Trekking Path (Manaslu last time). I highly recommend them for an intimate, personal experience in getting to know Nepal, its culture, and its beautiful mountains! They specialize in solo, couple, or small group travel and made both of us feel right at home and comfortable. We were well cared for and would absolutely come back! I highly recommend for anyone looking for a well-curated mountain trekking experience.

Incredible Everest Basecamp Treak - My Everest Base Camp trek in April was amazing, thanks to Ram Hari’s excellent organization and Sreekrishna’s fantastic guidance. Going solo with Sreekrishna was the right choice – his support and knowledge helped me through altitude sickness. With their help, I completed the trek confidently. They offer the best value for money in Nepal. After my recommendation, my friends loved their Annapurna Base Camp trek. I’m excited for the Three Passes trek this year! Thanks, Ram Hari and Sreekrishna, for an unforgettable experience!

Memorable trekking experience with high standard of service - My husband and I did a private trekking trip to EBC with Gimalayan Trekking Path in October 2023. I did the planning of this trekking only 2 weeks before but Ram made everything possible for us even short notice. All the team, Ram and the trekking guide "Dendi" showed high standard of serving thier customers. Eventhough we had some hiccups (lost baggage, one of us felt sick), they helped us to be able to finish the trekking. The trekking was very beautiful and it was one of the most memorable trip for us. I truly recommend Himalayan Trekking Path. Best, Pawanee & Ludo
