Great to Work With - We did the Annapurna Base Camp Trek in May 2023. If you are going to do this, you can’t go wrong with Himalayan Adventure Treks and Tours. They were incredibly easy to work with, easy to communicate with in advance, and very accommodating while we were in country. Our guide was Prakas and our Porter was Manoj—I would recommend them both to you; you’d be lucky to work with them!

Memorable trek in the Himalayas! - Himalayan Adventures was a pleasure to work with. The owner, Bhagwat Simkhada, was prompt and responsive to our queries right from the start. Our main guide, Bharat Simkada, was skilled, experienced, and resourceful. The rest of the team - asst. guide Manoj, and porters Dikpal and Santosh, were kind, caring and very fun to be with. Our teen had some nausea and dizziness on the second day of our trip, which had us worried. Bharat reassured us that it was not AMS (this is where his experience showed) and the entire team took special care of her such that she was back to action and roaring ahead in a couple of days. We bonded like family and had a fulfilling and beautiful journey to Annapurna Base Camp. This was a memorable trip for us, and Himalayan Adventure was a big part of making it so.

Wonderful trip to Annapurna & amazing trek - What an amazing trip of our lives! :) Thank you for that! The owner, Baghwat communicated with me and it was very easy and clear at all times. He organized all for us, trips, hotels...etc. Very nice guy! Thank you, Baghwat! We had a guide, Barat and he was exceptional. At all times, he was checking if we were okay during the trek. Organized our meals. Our porter, Monoj, was a big help during our trip. They made a friendly and helpful team who was there for us at all times. Thank you, guys! You are the stars! :) I fell in love with the country and people of Nepal. Food also! :D Thank you for this experience. Recommendations all around for this trip and the team who organized it. A big hello from Serbia from Alejandra & Ivan! See you soon I hope! :)

Unforgettable adventure in Nepal! - Himalayan adventure is an outstanding company to plan your next adventure in Nepal with! Everyone from the company representative to guides to porters go above and beyond to make your trip safe and memorable. Albeit being organised last minute, our trip to ABC was an amazing experience - all due to the tireless efforts by our guide Prakash Adhikari, assistant guides Manoj Khatiwada, Urken Sherpa, and all the other team members! I can’t wait to go back again with Himalayan adventure for my next Nepal adventure!

EBC to ABC was meant to be! - We were warmly greeted at the airport by Prakash from this company. On our second night, we had a briefing meeting with both Mr. Simkhada and with Prakash, the main guide which was very informative. The following day, we were scheduled to depart for the Everest Base Camp Trek. However, the weather was not cooperating, as there was heavy fog - and on our third day of waiting at the airport, in the hopes the helicopters would be able to take us to our start point in Lukla - it was determined the conditions were still not safe to fly. In a matter of less than two hours, in order to "salvage" the time we had left, Mr. Simkhada was able to coordinate an entire change of itinerary (for the 18 people in our group which made us feel it would be a very difficult and almost impossible task) - along with Prakash's help. We were able to flawlessly transition to a trip to Pokhara by flight within two hours, and from there, guides/porters, tea house accomodations, dining and jeep transportation - was all coordinated by Himalayan Trek Adventures. The transition was so smooth - that one would have thought this trip had been pre-planned for days in advance. The team of guides and porters treated us all like family and we ended up having such a fulfilling and beautiful journey to Annapurna Base Camp. We all felt that the transition to this journey was meant to be and will remain forever grateful that we had selected this particular company - because I am not certain that others could have managed what they did and still made our journey to Nepal such a fulfilling one. With gratitude - I would highly recommend this company for their dedication and perseverance and commitment to making this a wonderful trip for all of us.

Flawless experience with the company. - Bad weather forced us to change our trip from Everest Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp for a large group. The Annapurna Circuit was closed due landslide, EBC closed due to bad weather, all traffic poured to ABC trail, and Mr. Bhagwat Simkhada was able to rearranged the itinerary in few hours with no corners cut. The honesty, integrity of the company, there staff (main guide Prakash), assistance guides, and porters priceless!

Awesome experience, I will do it again with same companey - An awesome experience The beautiful scenery, people and culture of Nepal and the Himalayas Adventure made this trip one of the best that I have done. It was a delightful experience, and the memories are now etched in my mind. The tour company, Himalayan Adventure, made the trip so easy and trouble free. From airport pick to drop off at the end of the trip I did not have to worry about a thing. The flight to Pokarra, all accommodation and meals during the treck were arranged with in one day for 18 of us, so we could simple enjoy the treck in a hassle-free environment. I had a large menu to choose from at all places and the food was delicious, especially the Sherpa vegetable soup. I'm planning to go back and do the Everest Base Camp treck next year with Simkhada the owner & our lead guide Prakash Adhikari & Sitaram, I can trust them 100% for my safety. Raj Chirra

EBC to ABC replanned in 2 hours for 18 PEOPLE! - The greatest trip I could have imagined all thanks to Mr. Simkhada and Prakash (our lead guide) We originally reached out to Mr. Simkhada to plan our trip to Everest Base Camp and boy was it planned to the last detail - every single aspect of it was planned out from the moment we got off the plane in Kathmandu to the moment we took off to return home. Unfortunately, the one detail that can't be planned around is weather and weather derailed that trip completely - instead of flying a helicopter to Lukla, we had to pivot to a different plan. Let me set the stage because pivoting to a different plan doesn't sound like a big deal, but it was MASSIVE. People were stuck trying to go to Lukla and getting out of Lukla for about 5 days - that means that 100s of 1000s of people were looking to change their plans. Additionally, Annapurna Circuit Trek had a lot of natural disasters (landslides and avalanches) and so the only option for all these people was Annapurna Base Camp. Within 2 hours of us telling Mr. Simkhada and Prakash that we would switch our plan from EBC to ABC they had EVERYTHING planned out and not just for a group of 4 or 5 people, no 18 PEOPLE! We had tickets to Pokhara from Kathmandu, buses were ready to pick us up, porters were put in place and local assistant guides were identified and hired. All the tea houses, lunches, dinners, everything was planned. To be honest, we didn't realize the enormity of their planning excellence until we were literally on the trek running into groups that had to also re-plan their treks to not only find out that 6 to 7 people were sharing rooms, being turned away from teahouses due to full capacity, or having to set up tents to sleep outside. Outside of planning we also loved the team they put together for us. Prakash is excellent - professional but fun and extremely detail oriented. By day one, he had integrated himself into our group so well that he was endearingly calling my mom, "mom." The assistant guides Urkin, Manoj, and Sitaram were also fantastic - very loving, and made sure we had the absolute best time. Finally, the porters, the 9 porters, we never saw anything but a smile on their faces. Really hats off to this company. We could have had a disaster trip and no one would have been at fault because you can't control the weather, but despite difficult conditions - they put together a trip of a lifetime.

Great time on ABC trek - Himalayan Adventures rearranged our itinerary within 2 hours of us making the decision to go to ABC instead of EBC, due to poor weather conditions. It was impressive how quickly they were able to take care of flights, accommodations, porters, guides, etc. For a large group of trekkers. The staff is professional, courteous, accommodating, and well-informed. The lead guide, Prakash, ensured that everything was taken care of throughout the trek, and he ensured everyone made it to ABC and back safely. Highly recommend this trekking company.
