Interesting & Informative!! - We took the coffee estate tour at Mercarra Gold Coffee Estate, and it was a truly enriching experience. Our guide, Murugesan, was knowledgeable and incredibly helpful, offering a detailed and engaging tour of the entire estate. I left with a deeper appreciation and understanding of coffee, thanks to his insights

Well Guided & Informed Coffee & Spice Tour - Mercara Estate Tour is wort every penny. Well guided tour. If you crave for information about coffee and spice cultivation, production and processing then this is your destination. We enjoyed nature walk in their coffee and spice estate. It was raining and it added more spice to the tour. They serve complimentary coffee. They also have a coffee museum.

Great 😃 - The explanation was good. Maybe they should mention that there is a steep climb at the beginning and ideally they should advice that guests wear proper walking shoes.

The best decision we took! - Absolutely a must do! While the estate is not very big, it's lush and very interesting. The tour lasts for about 45 mins or so and is so informative. Our guide was Mr. Manju and he made it so entertaining. We got to smell peppers, taste the fiesty bird eye chilli and sample some chocolate as well. All of this is grown and processed in the estate itself. The coffee tasting was basic but we had opted for the local thali post the tour and that turned out to be the best decision we had made! The thali was outstanding. I had the pandi curry thali and my husband tried the chicken curry and both were excellent and so well made. They have a decent selection of coffee and spices in their shop as well and we picked some up as gifts to carry home.

Must visit - A must visit place. 1)the plantations are beautiful and though i visited in summer,it wasnt too hot as was situated on a hill. 2)there is coffee, spices, cacao and few fruit trees all around the estate 3)booked a tour and the guide 'Ramesh' was very informative, patient and humble. He gave us a lot of information about every coffee, tree. 4)In the end of the tour, there s a shop to buy handmade chocolates(worth buying!!),coffee etc Do visit it if you are in coorg.Do not skip it.

Great experience - This is a great tour; conducted by Mr Manjunath who is very learned and explains everything clearly and makes the tour enjoyable. The total time taken is -~1.5 hours ( depending on the how fast you can walk) and culminates with a cup of filter coffee ( which is included in the tour ticket; alternative option is to take a meal plan). Distance is not too much but the estate has some inclined surfaces - hence those with any difficulty in walking up inclined surface should check with the estate-

Knowledgeable Tour - It was a nice tour. Manjunath our guide was knowledge and patient. The tour lasted for around 45 mins followed by museum tour and tasting of coffee. The only drawback is they don’t accept cards and UPI is an issue at times. So if you wish to do shopping from the store then pls do carry cash. Network in Coorg overall is quite bad . Vodafone is worst. No signal at all.

Waste of money - Very short walk in their coffee plantation, guide did not explain anything properly unless asked. Not worth the money they are charging.
