A great day out - We had a wonderful day and although we didn’t actually see elephants it was great to soak up the atmosphere in Anakulum and to wonder through the tea gardens. The drive in the jeep was great fun and so much attention was put into many aspects of the day - thank you for a lovely day out.

A wonderful time in Munnar - My partner and I booked 3 tours through Munnar Valley Trekking, and they were all incredible. We started with Kumar who took us on the sunset trek, he was wonderful, and the walk was stunning. After this we decided to go on the Elephant tour- Nagu, was our guide, who gave us a laid back tour, tailored to our needs, with plenty of time to swim, and explore the tea fields. We were lucky enough to see the elephants, which was spectacular! Finally, we booked the sunrise trek with Ramesh, he was really lovely and super informative. Because we had already done the sunset walk, took us to an entirely new spot, and it really was amazing. If you have a short time in Munnar, I highly recommend doing any or all of these experiences! Check out Munnar Valley Trekking, you won’t be disappointed :)

From tea plantations to wild elephants — an adventure worth every minute! - I had a truly wonderful experience with this local travel agency, and I would especially like to highlight my jeep driver, Raj. He was knowledgeable, kind, patient and made the whole trip feel very special. Thanks to him, we were able to explore places that we would have never found on our own. The tour was well organized from start to finish. I got to see beautiful tea plantations, a scenic waterfall, a fascinating cave, a local school and authentic village life — and the cherry on top was observing elephants in their natural environment. It was an unforgettable moment! Overall, an amazing experience and a tour I would highly recommend to anyone. Super!

Lovely guide! - We had a great time. Our guide Nagu was brilliant. We had a lovely food and our guide got some great photos for us. We especially loved the tea museum and tea estate part of the tour and the views from the jeep. The only parts that could be improved in our opinion, would be the tiger cave and the waterfall which we found a bit underwhelming. Maybe there are other waterfalls and sights in the area that could also be of interest? Overall, we would really recommend the tour :)

Highly recommend - I would highly recommend this tour. My guide and driver Abbas was so kind and knowledgeable. He encouraged me to take my time at every stop to really enjoy the scenery, and every stop was beautiful. It was a really enjoyable day and he even drove me back to my hotel, which wasn’t part of the package. Highly recommend.

Best day ever. Request Nagu! - Nagu was the greatest tour guide. You must ride with him in the Blueberry. We had the most action and serenity packed day with Nagu. He took us to the most amazing places. He: took us to remote views of the tea plantation and scenery, got word of the elephants arrival and rearranged the trip so we could see them, took us zip lining, and knew exactly when to stop to give us information about the landscape, tea farming, and local culture. It was the best day thanks to Nagu. He was informative, a great driver, kind, a great photographer, and most importantly masterfully designed the day for what we wanted.

Amazing Deep Munnar Tour - An amazing experience. Deep Munnar is amazing. Its jungle landscapes, leafy, full of color and animal sounds wherever you go. In addition to the views of the Te gardens which are an incredible landscape. We were joined by Abi, who was very gentle and friendly. He helped us tour and showed us the best places in the area. Fully recommended. Don't miss it.

Average tour, if the elephants don't make an appearance. - We were looking forward to this trip in the hope of seeing the elephants in the wild.. and everything else (waterfalls, etc) was secondary. We started from Munnar around 11:00 am, and go to the elephant viewing place at about 3:00pm. Sadly the elephants didn't appear till 5:30pm, when we ran out of patience in the afternoon heat. We decided to call it a day and head back. The jeep tour was interesting, passed a few waterfalls, villages, etc. The Tiger Cave was an interesting stop. Lunch was home-cooked and provided by the guide, which was average (some cutlery would have been good, we used whatever was available). We found that the guide had a rather strong accent, which made it difficult to understand what he was saying; specially above the noise of the jeep. All in all, an average day.
