Ramboda Waterfall - As rivers flow over uneven terrain or down mountains, they often split into tributaries or form waterfalls. Occasionally, two tributaries of the same river create twin waterfalls close to each other, forming a Y shape when they merge. This unique sight is visible at the Ramboda Pass in the Pussellawa area of Nuwara Eliya. Ramboda Falls, also known as Ramboda Ella or Puna Ella, is formed by Puna Oya, a tributary of Kothmale Oya, and pairs with Dunsinane Falls, created by Pundalu Oya, another tributary of Kothmale River.
Shri Bhakta Hanuman Temple - In 1980, Gurudev envisioned a spiritual center at Rambodha. With his blessings, Chinmaya Mission Sri Lanka acquired 10 acres of land in 1981 at Wevanden Hills, naming it “Rambodha.” Located 3,200 ft above sea level and 150 km from Colombo, it is believed that Sri Hanumanji set foot here while searching for Sitaji. On April 8, 2001, Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda consecrated the temple with Maha Kumbhabhishekam. The temple features a 16 ft idol of Lord Hanuman as the Moola Murti, with Vinayakar, Dhyaneshwar, and Sri Rama with Mother Sita and Lakshmana as parivara murtis.
