Royal Botanical Gardens - The Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya are the oldest formal gardens in Sri Lanka. The gardens boast nearly 4,000 different plant species.

Kandy Lake - Kandy Lake, also known as Kiri Muhuda or the Sea of Milk, is an artificial lake in the heart of the hill city of Kandy, Sri Lanka, constructed in 1807 by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe next to the Temple of the Tooth. Over the years, its size has been reduced. It is a protected lake, with fishing prohibited. There are many legends and folklore surrounding the lake. One such tale is that the small island at its center was used by the king’s harem for bathing and was connected to the palace by a secret tunnel.
Kandy - Nuwara Eliya
Gregory Lake - Gregory Lake was created in 1873 by the British-era Governor at the time, Sir William Gregory, supposedly for the purpose of providing electricity. However, the lake was mainly used for leisure and recreation after its construction. At its peak of popularity, Gregory Lake was the most prominent attraction in the area and served as a relaxing spot for many visitors.
Sita Temple - The Sita Amman Temple, dedicated to Sita, the wife of Lord Rama, is located in the hills of Nuwara Eliya and is revered with deep devotion by Hindus as it is considered the only temple of its kind in the world. It is situated five kilometers along the road from Nuwara Eliya to Kandy. According to history, this is where King Ravana held Sita captive. What is intriguing about the temple is the presence of footprints by the river, believed to resemble those of Hanuman.
Shri Bhakta Hanuman Temple - Shri Bhakta Hanuman Temple was built by the Chinmaya Mission of Sri Lanka. It is located in Ramboda on the Kandy-Nuwara Eliya Road, approximately 30 kilometers north of Nuwara Eliya on the A-5 route, facing the Kotmale Reservoir. The Chinmaya Mission is a Hindu spiritual organization engaged in the dissemination of Vedanta, the science of the self as expounded in the Vedas, particularly the Upanishads, and other important Hindu scriptures including the Bhagavad Gita.
Devon Falls - Situated along the Talawakele–Hatton road in the Nuwara Eliya district, it is a vision of striking green and foaming water cascading down the falls. A captivating sight, it is highly recommended for nature and bird lovers to visit this amazing natural preserve. There are two observation points on the A7 highway from which the views of this waterfall can be enjoyed. The lower observation point is particularly special because both Devon and St. Clair waterfalls can be seen cascading down the scenic mountains.
Nuwara Eliya - Ella
Nine Arches Bridge - The Nine Arch Bridge in Ella is located on the Demodara loop and spans 91 meters at a height of 24 meters. The beautiful nine arches make it an exceptionally picturesque spot, especially as it is situated in a dense jungle and agricultural setting. Behind the railway, a forest is thriving, and below, tea leaves are being cultivated.

Gangaramaya (Vihara) Buddhist Temple - The Gangaramaya Temple in Colombo is the most opulent and renowned in Sri Lanka. It was built just over 120 years ago and is dedicated to Buddhism. The temple is celebrated for its lavish architecture and statues showcasing Sri Lankan, Chinese, Thai, Burmese, and many other artistic styles.
Independence Square - Independence Square is a popular stop on a city tour, allowing visitors to walk around the structure or relax in the shade of the avenue of mango trees. Close to the Square is the Arcade, a modern shopping mall housed in former colonial government buildings, enhanced with a fountain, covered ponds, and more statues of lions. Independence Square is located in the prestigious Cinnamon Gardens district of Colombo, where spacious tree-lined boulevards remain from colonial days. It takes its name from the Independence Memorial Hall built there to commemorate Sri Lanka’s independence from British rule in 1948.
Colombo Fort Railway Station - The railway line was established over 150 years ago by the British. At the time, the Central Terminus was located near Maradana, and the location can still be seen as it now serves as the Sri Lanka Railway Museum. In 1877, the Coastal Railway Line was created, and that is when the first Fort Station came into use. The old Fort region of Colombo is one of the busiest sections of the city. It is the trade quarter where goods from various countries are stocked and sold by wholesale traders. It is also home to important government departments such as the Sri Lanka Customs Headquarters, the Sri Lanka Ports Authority, and the Merchant Shipping Department.
Colombo Lotus Tower - This is Sri Lanka’s tallest tower, standing at a height of 350 meters (1150 feet). It is the 11th tallest tower in Asia and the 19th tallest tower in the world.
BMICH - The Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall is one of the foremost convention centers on the island. Located in the Cinnamon Gardens region of Colombo, BMICH offers over 16,000 square feet of floor space. Opened to the public in 1998, this convention center is a gift from the People’s Republic of China in memory of Sri Lanka’s late Prime Minister Solomon Ridgeway Dias Bandaranaike. The construction of this convention center was a joint project between Sri Lankan and Chinese workforces. BMICH is managed by the Bandaranaike National Memorial Foundation (BNMF).
