Bridge of the river kwai - We were picked up & dropped back off at our Hotel by our tour guide 00M. If you've done the tour you will understand. Great experience with a great tour guide. If your interested & want to do the river kwai experience. I would recommend paying to go through these to get the full experience. Big thank you to 00M & not forgetting the driver who got us from the meeting place & back safely. Thanks, Mark & Colette

You'll get FOMO if you don't go - 100% worth the fee. We got picked up and had a coffee stop halfway through. This includes the way back. The van was super comfortable and me and my partner slept for much of the ride before and after. Our group was very small, so it felt like we had a lot of flexibility in the tour and we could ask as many questions as we wanted. At least for us, this price included everything except the train ride, but the boat ride was a huge highlight. The train and the meal was amazing though. Especially the meal, it overlooks the river and it was breathtaking. Our tour guide was also amazing and hilarious. I just wish we had a little more time at the cemetary, I think we only had 20 minutes and it wasn't enough. But it's amazing.

Fantastic and worth the long drive - What a great day learning about the history of the Death Valley Railway and the Bridge over the River Kwai and paying our respects to those that made the intimate sacrifice. Umm was a fantastic guide and very knowledgeable. An unforgettable experience that was both beautiful and melancholic

Bridge over the river - It’s a very long day and early start but worth it. Educational as learnt a lot about how prisoners of war were treated by the Japanese in the Second World War.

Good Trip, Poor Vehicle - We booked this as a private trip for four of us. Communication from the tour company was excellent and the driver and guide picked us up as arranged and on time. We had been told that the vehicle would be a Toyota mini bus which was fine but the vehicle had seen better days. This is not a low cost tour and the Toyota was not up to expectations, was very tatty and did not have proper seat belts. Apart from that, we enjoyed our day with the war grave visit, boat and train trips being highlights. Be warned, it is a long day in the vehicle and hence our expectation of better transport. Guide and driver were good.
