An insiders look into local culture - Our guide, Sachiko, expertly escorted us around town so we could see a maximum number of places, and without feeling rushed. Her open free expression was a delight. She surprised us with a beautiful montage of pictures and videos that she took of us. This will be a memorable day. Arigato, Sachiko-san.

The best tour of Kanazawa from the best guide! - Sachiko is simply an amazing guide. So well prepared and knowledgeable, she listened to our interests and the main things we had already seen. She then planned a great itinerary for us taking in the fascinating Samurai district, the ninja temple and a small geisha area followed by a lovely lunch spot. We then went over to the main geisha and craft areas. We especially loved learning about the gold leaf manufacturing process. Sachiko seems to know everyone and it felt like we saw some elements that were not usually shown to tourists. We were so pleased we hired a professional guide, and feel so lucky we got the lovely, kind Sachiko. Highly recommended.

Funny and knowledgeable. - Tetsuro Aiba was an excellent tour guide. He answer and explained every question we have. He was patient and knowledgeable. He gave us options. He took pictures us and share the link. He took us to great places to eat lunch. I would recommend him and give him a 5 star.

Behind the scenes artisan studio visits- Kanazawa, Japan - Our visit to two Japanese Masters of laquer making and silk dyeing (Kimono) gave us a fascinating insight into the techniques, and artistry of their highly skilled work. We were welcomed into their studio (and homes) and were expertly led by Nozomi, our patient guide who enabled us to connect with both artists, and who guided us all day with a lightness of touch and great warmth. We loved the day with Nozomi, and can highly recommend this tour.

Best guide EVER! - We had the BEST GUIDE, Nozomi Kondo, for two days of touring Kanazawa. She was clear in her directions and instructions and accommodated us in the activities we wanted to do. She took time and care to let us shop, rest and wonder if we wanted to. She answered questions and we had meaningful discussions. We loved her and would recommend her again.

Excellent way to maximising our time in Kanazawa. - An excellent tour around Kanazawa with a local guide who spoke excellent English. Tetsuro was born and brought up in Kanazawa and knew everything about the city. He was very happy to take us where we wanted to go and show us the best sites, shops and museums. We were able to make the very best of our short time in Kanazawa. Highly recommended and thank you Tetsuro.

Wonderful day out with Keiko - My wife and I had a wonderful day out with Keiko in Kanazawa. Everything was well-organized and thought out. We were even given a written itinerary at the start for our approval and it was perfect. . Well-paced, thorough, but not rushed. Keiko’s English was excellent, with wonderful diction and she was easy to talk to and informative throughout the day. We liked her immensely and enjoyed her company. It added so much to the experience of visiting Kanazawa, which is a wonderful city. We were also fortunate with the weather.. We visited the Geisha and Samurai districts, the castle and garden. All were great. The highlight was Keiko herself. Highly recommended!

Tour of Samurai village, Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden - My friend and I went on a private tour with Reiko. She was a great guide. She met us at our hotel before our time, and escorted us on bus to our destination. She was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all our answers. Her English is good and she understood us when we spoke. Full of energy and excited to guide us around, Reiko was an absolute pleasure to be with and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good tour guide.
