Wonderful tour! - What an amazing tour! My husband and I were so happy we decided to book this tour. We saw so many beautiful places, learned so much and had such a great day. Mike was an amazing tour guide, so informative and kept us laughing the whole time. We actually ended up booking another tour because we had such a wonderful time with him. We highly recommend!!

Tourist-free and off the beaten track - We are fairly seasoned travellers in Japan and wanted a trip that was a bit out of the way. We needed a guide to help us with public transport in a fairly remote area where there are very few English signs. Mike did an excellent job in explaining how the stunning landscape was formed; translated the monk’s information at the amazing temple we visited; and was a very friendly guide who accommodated our physical needs and paced the tour accordingly. This area of Japan is very beautiful.

Perfect if you want something off the beaten track - We saw some stunning scenery and Japan’s nature at its best. The cliffs and rock formations were incredible. Our guide Mike was amazing, and we loved getting to know him. He went out of his way to ensure that our experience was perfect for us, taking care to pace it at a level suitable for our age and physicality. The temple we visited was incredible in its beauty, and Mike was great at translating the monk’s descriptions of what we were seeing, his answers to our questions, and explanations about the history of the temple. I’d recommend this tour to anyone who has already seen the “big tourist spots” of Japan, and wants to see some of the less-travelled and much less tourist-filled beauty spots.

Beautiful nature - We visited quiet Japan away from the tourists and enjoyed the beautiful views of the coast. We used public transport and everything was well arranged by the guide. We were also given a private tour by a monk. This trip is highly recommended.

Breathtaking view of the stunning cliffs - The breathtaking cliffs of Tojinbo were a true highlight, with dramatic coastal views and fascinating geological insights. The visit to the spiritual island of Oshima felt serene and mystical, while the historic port town provided a glimpse into Fukui’s maritime heritage. It was an adventurous visit to the Oshima island which we definitely wouldn’t have done it without our guide (Kudos to Garrett) ! The guide’s engaging storytelling and expertise made the journey both educational and immersive. Highly recommended for nature lovers!

Experiencing local sights outskirts of Fukui - We had a wonderful experience seeing different sights of Fukui that's more rural and not a crowd full of people. We saw the Sea of Japan. Our favorite was the warm foot soak after a long trek. Garrett, our guide was great at explaining the history of the sights and took great care of us.

I find this Trips very compact - I went to Japan in September to take part in a tour to Fukuoka Prefecture, where there are a lot of rocks that should be eroded by the sea waves for a long time. The scenery is very beautiful, in addition to the rocks can be inserted on the boat and close to visit, the rocks is a difficult trip.
