Pick up and Transfer to Kibale forest National Park

Amabere Caves - Our driver guide will pick you up at the airport or hotel and drive you through the countryside, enjoying the remarkable landscapes, and traditional homes while you catch a glimpse of the different beautiful landscapes and attractions. Have a stopover for lunch in Fort portal town, Uganda’s tourism capital later proceed to Nyakasura to start your walk of the Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves, where you will visit the caves and the waterfall after a short walk. Later continue your guided tour to Lake Kigere where you will climb up to a small hill from which you will have a nice view of not only Lake Kigere but also Lake Saaka as well as Lake Nyabikere Craters. You will also have an incredible view of the Rwenzori Mountains National Park in the backdrop. Later proceed to your Lodge for Overnight

Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi walk

Kanyanchu Visitor Center - Wake up early and report to the ranger station to start tracking chimpanzees in the forest, this will enable you to view other primates like the colobus monkeys, Mangabeys, baboons, Bushbabies and many more. You will move with a guide who will make your walk informative, productive, and enjoyable. He will provide information on both flora and fauna.

Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary - In the afternoon Accompanied by a guide, you will follow the forest trails to go for a walk in search for different types of birds and rare fauna and flora in the Bigodi Swamp area Known as a bird-watching sanctuary, The swamp is home to 138 bird species which may be seen during guided walks along the boardwalk trail and viewing platforms. These could include the White-spotted Flufftail, Yellow-spotted Barbet, Hairy-breasted Barbet, Yellow-billed Barbet, Western Nicator, Grey-winged Robin-chat, White-tailed Ant-thrush, Brown-backed Scrub-robin, Black-and-white Shrike-flycatcher, Brown-throated Wattle-eye, Superb Sunbird, Brown-crowned Tchagra, Bocage’s Bush-shrike, Black Bishop, White-breasted Negrofinch and Black-crowned Waxbill among others.

After breakfast, we depart by road proceeding to Queen Elizabeth National Park as you go through the spectacular landscape characterized with open grasslands, the Rift valley Escarpment, and various woodlands driving through the lush hills of the Park with a game of the Crater drive through the volcanic craters on a 24 km drive through a scenic cluster of extinct volcanic craters filled with lakes forests and Savannah.

Discovering the nature of Queen Elizabeth National park - Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda is a stunning natural wonder, home to an incredible diversity of wildlife. We took an unforgettable boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, spotting elephants, hippos, and a variety of birds up close. The local cuisine was also nice, with delicious dishes featuring fresh fish from nearby Lake Edward and flavorful Ugandan spices.

Traveling with wonder - Kibale National Park was an incredible experience, with the highlight being the chimpanzee trekking, we were able to observe fascinating primates up close in their natural habitat. The Bigodi community experience was also a wonderful way to learn about the local culture and way of life. Continuing on to Queen Elizabeth National Park, we had an amazing wildlife adventure, spotting elephants, lions, hippos, and countless other species, all while staying at a very affordable and comfortable lodge that I would highly recommend.
