Great escape from Tokyo for a day - Yoshi took us to see the wonderful temples in Kamakura, which were magnificent, before showing us Yokohama's distinctly terrific Chinatown. We had a great time, and he was extremely knowledgeable about each of the places we visited. Anyone looking to get out of Tokyo for a fun day trip should take this tour!

Very polit, kind and helpful - Our guide Shinji was really good with taking us around Kamakura in a rainy day. He is so great with helping our 83 yo mother up and down the wet slippery stairs with patience. The only critique that we have is when he was waiting for us at the meeting point his name badge was not visible and he did not hold a sign with our name on it so we can recognize him.

A great way to see Kamakura - Andy contacted us in advance to plan the tour, leaving nothing to chance. He got us from the cruise terminal in Yokohama to Kamakura and back via taxi, train and city bus. We wouldn’t have known how to get around on our own. He took us to the four most popular attractions in Kamakura as well as to coffee and to lunch an excellent Japanese restaurant. He explained everything well and in excellent English.

Great day in Kamakura - Mizutome Yuichi was an excellent guide. His English was very good and he showed us all of the shrines and temples that we asked to see. He was sensitive to our pace and took us for a delicious Ramen meal. We highly recommend him!

Fantastic Experience - We absolutely enjoyed the gardens, the temples, and the shrine. Find a little restaurant off the beaten path and have a traditional Japanese meal. Our lunch was superb.

Yokohama is exceptional - We enjoyed a wonderful day with our guide Kozee, who went out of his way to show us a. Great variety of sights. A highlight was an art gallery in a department store that featured modern Japanese art. Very impressed with our guide and the day we enjoyed with him.

An excellent day trip from Tokyo to Yokohama - We did a daytrip out of Tokyo with Yasuko, who was an excellent guide. We have visited Tokyo many times and wanted to do something different , after a week of autumn leaves in Hokkaido. We originally booked a trip to Nikko with Yasuko as our guide but after some email exchanges , we decided that a trip by train to Yokohama was a better fit for our interests and would avoid weekend traffic jams and crowds. We took the trains to Yokohama within a short walk from the Imperial Hotel and within an hour we were in Yokohama, which is pleasant and has a different vibe from downtown Tokyo. The port has a lovely promenade and rose garden and the NYK Hikawamaru ship museum and it was near Yokohama’s Chinatown. But the highlight of our trip was the visit to Sankeien garden with its lovely Japanese gardens and old houses of different styles . Having travelled to many countries as FITs , we realise that what makes a trip great is the experience, patience, professionalism and knowledge of your giude . Yasuko-san was tops in all of the above and we look forward to being guided by her on our next trip to Tokyo
