Free kimono experience - I took part in their free traditional kimono experience last month. I suggest going early, like 10 am, to avoid the crowd. The shop offers a variety of kimonos based on color, size, and material, plus footwear. We opted for sneakers for comfort during our walk. They also have stylish bags and hairstyling options. Overall, our experience was fantastic. I recommend renting from them; the staff is accommodating and friendly.

Wonderful autumn kimono experience - We are so happy we had this experience. The staff are helpful and work fast - the kimono was on before I knew it! I had fun with the lady who spoke some English, and the other staff were very welcoming. My husband was impressed by their professionalism also, and manners toward him. He chose a very nice kimono from the 3L section, being 6'1". I also chose from the Tall section, being 5'6". There are taller sections too. Our sandals fit us, and my hair was done as well, in traditional Japanese style. I also got to choose a bag. They are also helpful in choosing colours. This is a very professional business with experienced staff. Our outing was really, really fun. I thought it would be strange having foreigners wearing the kimono, but people greeted us very enthusiastically, and we met a lot of nice people willing to take our photos and talk to us. Overall, we highly recommend this place to rent kimono, and to do this experience in the beautiful Kamakura city.

Foreigner-friendly Kimono Rental Shop - We had fun wearing kimono and talking a walk across Kamakura! The rental shop offers a variety of Kimono in different sizes and vivid colors. If you want to experience the culture of Japan you should try this out. There are several layers of the Kimono and wearing it is really an interesting experience. You could see its history just by looking at the pieces while they are assisting in dressing you. Your trip to Japan won't be complete without wearing one! If you know a little Japanese, the staffs are willing to answer your questions no matter how trivial it is. The staffs are all Japanese, they are friendly, polite and will respect your choices about dressing up. Someone can speak English so you don't have to worry if you are not good in Nihongo. The one who skillfully braided my hair can even speak some Tagalog words which made me really happy.

Wonderful experience - Friendly staff with great selection of kimonos! I went with my wife a week ago in Asakusa as well but the varieties of kimono here were awesome. And also everyone could speak English fluently. We could visit many shrines and beautiful places in our day as: - Sasuke Inari Shrine - Zeniarai Benten Shrine - Tsurugaoka Hachimangu - Kokuji Shrine Definitely recommend a visit here.

Would try again! 🥳👘 - Had an amazing experience today!!! We were treated very kindly by all employees, they can speak some English, and have a nice selection of kimonos (standard, premium, lace, etc), and are efficient with hair & dressing you! There are different free styles of hair accessories you can choose from, as well as hair styles. You can also choose to pay a little bit more to do it more elaborate 🥳✨ ✅ Close to the station ✅ Quality-price ✅ Service ✅ Pretty kimonos! ✅ They give you good advice on combinations 🟠 Maybe need a bigger selection of Nagoya and Fukuro obis!

Check a bucket list item in Kamakura, Japan - If you're visiting Japan, it's definitely fun to wear a kimono and walk around the streets where you can feel the traditional beauty of Japan. We could choose from a lovely selection of kimonos in a variety of colors. This was my first time wearing a kimono, and the lady explained the steps to me. The lady adjusted the kimono so that I could move about without hesitation or pain.

Walking around Kamakura wearing a Kimono is a great experience one should get at least once in a life time - I love Japanese culture. There's so much to learn. If you are a foreigner living in Japan or plan to visit Japan as a tourist who hasn’t dreamed of wearing a Kimono in Japan? If you like or are interested in Japanese culture, you should experience this at least once in your lifetime. They had a variety of different kimonos to choose from. Also if you are worried about choosing what suits you the best, they are so helpful and give loads of advice to make you look your best. If I ever had a chance again I am sure I will do it again. Thank you very much!
