Amazing! - This was an awe inspiring experience. Absolutely beautiful. Dimitris was very well informed and gave us lots of great info that we wouldn't have otherwise known on our own. Dimitris really went above and beyond when we got to the first monastery and I realized that I didn't have any Euros in cash to pay for the admission. He drove me back down into town to stop at an ATM...my bank card was struggling with an international transaction. So he gave me 20 euros to make sure I could get into the monastery with my family. Luckily once we got back to town at the end of the tour I was able to get him paid back along with a tip. His extra service and hospitatality was really amazing.

Great way to visit Meteora - Maria was a great guide being very friendly and knowledgeable. She told us about all different monasteries, history of the town and gave us sufficient time to look around 3 different monasteries that we visited. She also gave us the option to have take away lunch on our train back so we can spend more time at the monasteries. We also visited a view point to take pictures the van was nice and comfy and driver was great as well. Highly recommended!

Great tour if you only have little time in the area, must do! - The tour was great, it is short but you know that when you book it and we see everything that need to be seen in that amount of time. The guide Maria was extremely nice and explain everything clearly and also with fun. Great experience if you only have little time to visit the area.

Hanging by a thread! - Enjoyed Nicolas’ background information as we drove to three of the monasteries. Absolutely amazing to see how these structures were constructed 1000 feet in the air——and how the monk’s came and went. Teaches us that there is no limit if you have a passion!!!

Enjoyable trip with lovely lunch at the end. - Very happy overall. The guide was very informative and the meal at the end was delicious. Visited 3 monasteries and stop to see the others and take photographs. Would recommend. Only criticism, not being warned of how difficult the entrance to the first two monasteries would be for someone older and unfit.

Very nice excursion - Very nice visit and well organized, we visited 3 monasteries. Our guide Maria is very good, she was kind enough to do the translation into French as well, thanks to her. The meal at the end of the visit is very good and a good end to this afternoon. The only point of improvement: inform us a week before our arrival of the train to take between Athens and Kalambaka so that there is no ambiguity regarding the reservation of the train to be made, especially in the morning. I highly recommend this magnificent and original excursion.

Despite the weather, Meteora is outstanding - If the weather did not have torrential rain and fog, then the visit would have been 5 star. Maria and Dino, our guide and driver respectively, did their best to make up. But these day and age, with the global climate crisis, the weather has been pushed to unpredictable levels. The European April rain lingered in Europe and Greece is no exception. Regardless, the stunning natural wonder of Meteora was still visibly awe-inspiring. Truly unique and would invite anyone to revisit.
