Welcome to Yogyakarta through Wahyu Travel Indonesia. We provide tour services, leveraging English-speaking drivers, in Yogyakarta and nearby areas on the Island of Java. We specialise in tours to Yogyakarta featuring Borobudur, the world’s largest Buddhist temple, and Prambanan, the world’s most exquisite Hindu temple. Please note: Borobudur temple, closed for nearly three years at the close of 2019, is now open for ascending to the peak, but with a limited capacity of 150 persons per hour. Only fortunate individuals will receive a special ticket for climbing. It’s highly recommended to book your tour as early as possible. If you miss out on a Temple Structure ticket, you can still explore Borobudur temple by purchasing a Ground Temple ticket on-site. Particularly on Mondays, the main temples of Borobudur and Prambanan are closed, and visitors can only view the main temple from the grounds. Please ensure the accuracy of your WhatsApp number while booking the tour as it is vital for us.
- Due to the limitation of special ticket for climbing Borobudur (Temple Structure) 150 persons per hour, I recommend you to book the tour as earlier as possible. After I receive the notification of your booking, I’ll immediately send you the special website for buying the special ticket for climbing Borobudur (Temple Structure). So, you will have enough time for buying the special ticket (Temple Structure) before it’s sold out.
- Especially on Monday, people cannot access the main temple. People are allowed to see the main temple far away from the yard only.
- There is only one website for buying the special ticket for climbing Borobudur (Temple Structure), it is the website I will send to you after I receive your booking.
- I highly don’t recommend you to have a flight in the same day with the tour because for both temples it takes a full day tour, started in the morning from Yogyakarta city and finished in afternoon.

Stunning temples, would recommend to anyone visiting Yogyakarta - My visit to Borobudur and Prambanan was undoubtedly the highlight of my Yogyakarta experience. Both sites are breathtaking, steeped in fascinating histories. The tour guides provided invaluable insights into the Hindu and Buddhist traditions embodied by these temples, enriching my understanding of their significance. Despite knowing little beforehand, I'm immensely grateful for the decision to include them in my Indonesian itinerary. The temples' architectural splendor, coupled with the panoramic views from their summits, left me in awe. Kudos to my driver, Ilham, whose punctuality and reliability ensured a seamless journey. As a solo female traveler, safety is paramount, and I felt entirely at ease throughout. I wholeheartedly recommend this journey to anyone eager to delve into the region's rich cultural tapestry.

Thank you Wahyu for these visits 🙏🏻 - Temples impressive in their mass. This is the first time we see temples built from lava stone.
Many thanks to Wahyu for these visits, he sent me the link to buy the tickets to go up to the Borobudur floor and it was worth a look. As for Prambanan, he was kind enough to book a French-speaking guide for us (who is none other than his French teacher, a very pleasant man)

Great day visiting temples - We had an amazing day in Borobudur and Prambanan thanks to Wahyu Travel. Ahmat, the driver was really friendly, flexible and helpful. We also enjoyed the Prambanan tour with the guide Teja. Such a funny guy with a lot of knowledge.

Organized visits to the temples of Yogyakarta - We spent a beautiful day in the company of wahyu who superbly orchestrated our visits to the temples, providing us with French-speaking guides. He speaks French well, which allowed us to discuss the temples and daily life in Indonesia. We were able to visit 4 temples, have lunch in a nice restaurant and learn about batik. All this in great simplicity since wahyu had organized everything. Thank you for taking care of us and our little boy.
