Two beautiful days in Bali thanks to Made - By chance we came across Made as a taxi driver in the port of Bali. We had no planned route and he gave us very good suggestions with explanations like a travel guide about the country/people/culture, so we booked him for another day. Made has excellent local knowledge and makes very good suggestions for restaurants/bars, e.g. to watch the sunset at the Tanah Lot temple. His English skills are also to be praised, so communication is possible at any time.

Mr. Made Sudarshana - A Huge man with a BIG Heart! - Words are not enough to express my regards for Mr. Made Sudarshana. He is a lovely human being. He is humble, courteous and honest. My interaction started with Mr. Sudarshana about 3 months before the visit to Bali. He was flexible about the places that I suggested and never insisted on a set itinerary. I have to mention this because I had a different experience at Nusa Penida where people were reluctant to deviate from the set itinerary/tourist places. I visited Bali with my wife and daughter in November 2023. We had a good time interacting with Mr. Sudarshana. He is witty and has lots of stories to tell. Additionally, he speaks good English. He was always on time. He helped us visit all the places that we had desired to visit. He never rushed through. He knows restaurants where we could have good meals with fantastic views. His driving was safe. The vehicle was always clean, never had a foul smell and was always in an impeccable condition. Mr. Sudarshana doesn’t smoke, which is rare in local Balinese people. He never simply dropped us at a tourist spot but accompanied us everywhere, guiding us about the place and also keeping an eye on our protection. For example, at Uluwatu Temple, he was equipped with a slingshot to shoo away the monkeys and he used it, not for us, but for a girl who fell when a monkey aggressively snatched her shoulder bag. It was for Mr. Sudarshana that her bag was saved and the monkey did not harm her further. He has a GoPro, he shoots nice videos and sends them to you. What a value addition it is! Unbelievable! We wanted to particularly watch the 6 pm show of Kechak Dance at Uluwatu Temple. We tried booking online for the 6 pm show but couldn’t as the show was full. Told the problem to Mr. Sudarshana asked him if he could do something. Mr. Sudarshana, called after a few hours and told us that he had arranged for the tickets that too at the same price. He is a magician. I am happy that I did not bargain on price with Mr. Sudarshana. His services are much more worth than what I paid him. I would say that meeting him and traveling with him is a must do while in Bali. Thanks Mr. Sudarshana for all that you did for us when we were in Bali. You made our visit memorable.

Family visited Bali for 2 weeks. - Made is a very knowledgeable and experienced tour guide. He was prompt, courteous, interesting and a very safe driver. We would highly recommend him.

Best Driver in the World - Pak Made is a fantastic driver! Very quick, humble, multi-talent as well. He becomes our photographer all the long way our trip! Driver hired for 2 weeks for multiple trips for 4 person family. - We have had (and still will use more) Made as our driver in Bali. I’m here for business and then some time with my family. I’m very used to drivers in Bali and JK. We wanted a driver with a clean and comfortable car. The car is good, plenty big enough for all 4 of us and a lot of luggage. It has extra seats in the back so I’m sure it would be comfortable for more on a long trip. We have done the following so far: - Collection from airport - Massage and Dinner in Seminyak ( we are staying in Nusa Dua for the first week) - Trip to see Kecak dance in Melasti beach - Uluwatu temple and shopping trip - Transfer to Ubud We plan more trips to the north of the island, return to Nusa Dua and a trip to Waterbom. Made has been very good at communication and prices are good for Bali. Car has been on time and he is knowledgeable about the area. If you want a driver for some trips or if you want a driver for a couple of weeks he is highly recommended. He was also sorting out tickets and translations for us at some of the locations, including taking photographs. A solid choice as a driver.

A highly knowledgable, friendly and professional driver - the best in Bali! - I have used Made a couple of times and cannot recommend him highly enough. He is professional, friendly and highly knowledgable. He always looks to add further value to his clients - an example was when he took us to Uluwatu Temple where he joined us to guide us around and keep the monkeys away. On another occasion we had arrived somewhere and forgot to take out some cash! Made helped lend us some so we didn’t need to miss the activity! Really, highly recommend!

Smooth, Safe, Steady - Made is a very friendly and helpful driver guide. We went to Bali with a simple itinerary for a family with ladies who don’t walk much, and Made was able to find places that were easy and enjoyable Driving in the busy streets of Kuta is not easy but Made drove smoothly and quick, even around tight alleys where our villa was located.

Brilliant driver. - I found Made's profile through alot of google searching. He is a brilliant driver, he is safe and understands Balinese traffic very well, you will see mopeds coming at you from every direction, driving in Bali is not for the faint hearted so do consider booking a driver for a day or more, if you do please book Made. Made is incredibly responsive and is really knowledgeable. We booked him for two full days, it is easy to look at the distances involved and think the journey will be quick and easy. Quick NO, easy YES thanks to his driving skills. Made found beautiful routes to take us on and we enjoyed the journey almost more than some of the places we visited. He was very quick to identify good places to stop for a photograph of a beautiful view. His English is very good so both communication before and on the day were very easy. He gave us a fantastic recommendation for lunch on the second day (Lereng Agung restaurant) which you could have missed completely but he knew the view on the other side would take our breath away. He took photographs and videos also for us. He even added in a recommendation of the orchid gardens when he realised that it would be of interest to us. Bali has suffered as a result of the pandemic. PLEASE return to Bali and if you want to book a driver please book Made Sudarsana he will guarantee you great days out in his very clean and modern car.
