Perfect trip with JWT - We throughly enjoyed our time with captain TJ and assistant Andrew. The JWT boat is designed specifically for whale watching, allowing access 360 degrees around the boat. We really did hit the whole bingo card on our trip. Mother and baby humpback lunge feeding, a breaching humpback, followed a large pod of resident orca, and swung by a good spot for pictures of Mendenhall glacier. Very glad we found JWT and we would recommend them to anyone looking for whale watching in Juneau.

Great trip - A very knowledgeable crew. The ability to walk all around the exterior of the boat meant we could all quickly go around to the other side to see a whale. The small number( 20) of passengers was the reason we chose this cruise and it was well worth it.

TJ and Andrew are great guides! - TJ and Andrew provided an exceptional tour being the first trip of the season. We were fortunate to have good weather with calm seas and we saw Sasha, a regular whale resident who comes every year to these feeding grounds. She had her new calf with her, which was a very happy sighting. We saw several of her tail flukes. I can't say enough good things about TJ and Andrew. They were educational, entertaining and so enthusiastic to share their love and passion for the whales and nature. The boat only holds 20 passengers, has a full walk around area for viewing as well as a heated cabin. For only being in business about 4 years here, as a solo operator, I wish them continued success. It is evident why their tour is rated number 1. Book it! You'll be happy you did!

Great experience - Fortunately, it had stopped raining by the time we got on the bus! We had arrived in Juneau on a cruise ship and the representative and the bus were easy to locate. We were taken straight to the Marina with the bus driver providing an interesting commentary for the short journey. We boarded the boat and within a short time after a brief safety chat, we were seeing whales! The biologist Josh was very knowledgable and Captain TJ was a friendly personable guy with a wealth of knowledge. It was a great way to spend an afternoon with two professionals and I would highly recommend this company.

Breathtaking Experience, Outstanding Crew - If you are in Juneau: Take This Trip! Our heli got canceled and we luckily stumbled across this GEM💎 Brilliant Josh teaching us, and Zen Capt TJ showing us their amazing water world. Somehow, during our visit a calf was still nursing🐋 The sun actually came out over the bay! I was shocked at how stunningly beautiful their world is every day. The trip felt like family and I would do it again tomorrow if I could! Skip the Heli and See the Whales!!💕🐋💎 Cheers JWT!!❤️ See you when I get closer🥰

Amazing experience! Exactly as advertised! - Amazing experience! This tour was exactly as advertised: Easy to access from the cruise ship, on time, knowledgeable driver. Small boat with great captains! They were knowledgeable and entertaining. Of course the best part was actually seeing several whales! We would highly recommend this whale watching tour!

Great excursion! - The bus driver, Cedar, provided a lot of great information about Juneau, and Josh and TJ made the boat tour really enjoyable! We saw orcas and humpback whales, and we actually had a sunny day which is rare for that time of year. Also, the fact that the tour was limited to 20 people was a huge bonus.

September Whale watch - TJ and were awesome and we felt very safe under their guidance. We saw many humpback whales after a 30min float to where the whales were feeding. The bus driver, Cedar, was a wealth of information about the area.

There are not enough good words to describe how WONDERFUL this whale watching was! - Our crew members were FABULOUS and so patient and DETERMINED to find whales for us to see...they did not disappoint! Great personalities and a good driver of the boat! My friends and I squealed with delight and loved our trip!

Awesome time on the water. - Cedar, Josh and TJ were awesome. Very knowledgeable and funny. And we saw a lot of whales. Smaller boat so everyone had a great view. Highly recommend!
