Great family experience making sushi - We had a wonderful time with our family. They walked us through the techniques of making the nigiri and answered all our questions. Then we did a group challenge to try different types of fish to test our knowledge. The whole time we got to dress as a samurai which added an element of fun. We had adults and teenagers in our group and it was perfect and kept everyone’s attention. I would definitely recommend this!

Awesome Experience - We got to try our hands at making sushi while immersed in Sengoku period. It is indeed hard to make perfectly shaped sushi, but we got valuable lesson while having fun with pop quiz and challenges! The experience last about 1 hour and half, and we go back with our tummy full from eating all that delicious sushi. I think this is a pretty fun activities to do with your friends and families. Be sure to book your experience at JIN Asakusa if you go to Tokyo!

Unique and interactive sushi dinner! - For an extremely unique sushi dinner try Jinasakusa! The chef taught us how to make our own nigiri with various amounts of fish, and my favourite part of the night were the games we played to distinguish between different qualities and types of fish. We even got to try caviar and wagyu which made this dinner really memorable! You can get some really fun photos wearing the samurai armour and sword, and the hosts were incredible with their enthusiasm, knowledge, and making sure everyone was taking the right steps. This was such a fun experience and a must-try for your first time in Japan!

Best experience ever!!!!! - The experience was amazing!!! Not only sushi making experience but also you get to taste caviar and Wagyu! I personally loved the part where I could take pictures with shogun armor and katana sword!!!! I spent ten minutes taking photo and videos and they were very helpful:)

FOREIGNER FRIENDLY Sushi Making Experience for All Ages! - Jin Asakusa invited me to try their sushi-making experience and it definitely exceeded my expectations!
This experience is VERY foreigner friendly. The hosts will speak in English, but there are Japanese and Chinese subtitles.
The storytelling and game elements to the course is perfect for sushi fans of all ages. The fish and rice were excellent quality.
Our shellfish allergy was gladly accommodated for ahead of time.
The chef teaches you how to make your own nigiri sushi step-by-step. Then, as samurai you battle and defeat the sushi monsters by spotting the difference between premium and regular grade fish. Each time you spot correctly, you earn a point. The person with the most points at the end of the course is declared shogun!
The hosts had such great high-energy that we were smiling and having fun from the moment we stepped in!
The shogun is decorated in full gear first, but afterwards everyone is invited to try the gear on and take pictures.
If you're someone looking for an enthusiastic, unique, and interactive experience, this is it!

A unique experience making sushi in Japan - The other day I had the opportunity days to experience making sushi in this restaurant. Even for me, who am Japanese, I had never had the opportunity to prepare sushi myself so it was a very fresh and valuable experience! Thanks to the staff, who taught me with great kindness and detail, I was able to enjoy the activity without worry, even as a beginner. There was also a unique quiz that included meat and caviar, which made her excited all the time. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also wonderful, and I got to have a very special time. It is a lovely place that I would definitely recommend to my foreign friends to visit Japan. Thank you so much for this amazing experience!!!

Sushi making with many fun games! - I recently visited here with my friend! And I left here having so much fun! I was interested in learning making sushi in Japan but it’s actually much more than that! They first tell you how to make, then slowly show and you finally make your own sushi! Even competing with your friend!
Also there are games about foods guessing which one is fake and real which is so much fun like tv program-like games!
The atmosphere is so nice, they seem so professional! The whole concept is also related with Japanese history so the ones who like it will love it! You can try it out the costumes and try holding katana! It was way beyond my expectation here!!✨
