Best stargazing experience! - This was hands down one of the best tours I have ever experienced. It is a bit daunting to think about finding the tour group off a Joshua Tree parking lot at night, but the logistics and communication by Molly and Tony were exceptional, with Cuz onsite. They are also quick responders to any questions. Every aspect of the experience has been perfected. I don't know much about astronomy and figured this tour would help point out some constellations for us. It was SO much more, full of Tony's impassioned stories from different cultures about the stars . His enthusiasm is contagious and knowledge is impressive. The tour is totally unscripted yet packed with great stories and just the right amount of interaction. It is a great and inspiring story how the business was developed. They offer drinks and snacks as well as blankets and gravity chairs, with flameless candles lighting where to step. The two other highlights for us were the UFO military grade goggles that make the stars and planets pop as they did for our ancestors, prior to light pollution. The equipment is clearly state of the art. The slow exposure portrait Tony takes at the end is absolutely beautiful and frameable. I left wanting to do further research on the stars, and would repeat these tours again for sure.

Not just constellations, but stories and cool night vision goggles - Tony and Cuz ran our Stargazing tour. You are not going to just be sitting there with some guy pointing at random constellations. Tony had so many stories about how different stars were viewed in different cultures. You can tell they have been doing this for a while because Tony had a story for every question that came up. This was definitely the favorite part of our trip. Communication was great. Directions were clear on where to meet them.

Do not miss this! - 10/10 recommend doing this when visiting Joshua Tree. Before this I experience I thought I had already seen the magic of the stars in JT's dark sky. After I realized I'd only seen a fraction of what's going on up there.... the professional-grade night vision goggles and high intensity telescopes enabled me to see everything- and it's a lot! Saw Jupiter and its moons, Mars, all the constellations, shooting stars, satellites, space junk, and so many tiny stars invisible to the naked eye. Tony's knowledge and enthusiasm is vast and we learned through his engaging stories and the laser pointer he used to beam a light up to everything he talked about. On a practical note, this business is so well-run. Communication and instructions were clear and timely. The set-up couldn't be cozier - blankets, zero-gravity chairs to gaze comfortably, and small candles lighting the pathways for ambience and safety. They even sent complimentary souvenir photos the next day. On a practical note, it's only steps from the parking area, making it accessible for those with mobility challenges.

Unforgettable night under the stars! - We're all sitting here at breakfast the next morning still buzzing over the experience last night with Tony and Cuz. The stories, the stars, the stories, the goggles, the history, the stories, the philosophy, the setup, the care shown, and the stories - so well done!! A must worth the price for anyone wanting the perfect ending to a day at Joshua Tree.

Amazing experience! - This was my first time stargazing at Joshua Tree and I am glad I went with these guys! This was not a typical stargazing tour. In a way, it was a history lesson. (I like historical btw). I learned so much about wisdom of people went before me and how they used storytelling of the stars they observed to enrich their lives. I will definitely sign up for another stargazing tour with these guys in the future to hear more stories about stars from people of the past.

A must do! - Awesome!!! You must do this stargazing tour. I’ve never seen the moon that close up with that powerful binoculars. Loved that I was able to see Orion constellation, Andromeda and an exploding star. I loved the stories and the night vision goggles! Tony and Cuz were great hosts. They’re attentive and made the evening fun and comfortable!

Striking stars and folk tales - Breathtaking views of the stars presented from a native peoples perspective. They were very well equipped for the cold and allowed us to use very cool viewing equipment. The presenter did have a tendency to ramble and the experience lasted about a half an hour longer than we expected, but overall worth doing!
