Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in the Dead Sea and then start the drive towards the Petra site.
Our English-speaking driver will take you along the Desert Highway to Petra. Depending on road conditions the drive will last a minimum of 3 hours including one stop on the way to Petra.
- Petra - Wadi Musa - Once you arrive at the visitor center in Petra, the driver with you will assist with the purchase of your tickets and a local guide (optional) if you are interested in more information about the architecture and history of the area.

Petra - Wadi Musa - The rose-red city of Petra is the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundations of a commercial empire that extended into Syria.
Upon arrival, you will begin the trip on horseback (Optional ) to the canyon, the so-called Siq, and then by foot to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Among other monuments you will see are the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, and Pharaoh’s Castle.
Petra was also chosen to be one of the New 7 Wonders of the world. - Petra Visitors Center - After the tour has concluded you will meet with your driver at the same place you were dropped off (Visitor Centre ), from there you will get ready for the drive back to the Dead Sea or you can choose to be dropped off at the Airport or a specified location in Amman area.

Our journey commences at dawn with a pick-up from your hotel in the Dead Sea (Jordan side) and includes a three-hour scenic drive down the Desert Highway to reach the breathtaking sight of Petra’s rock city. Petra, a rose-hued city and the main tourist lure of Jordan, is located 240km south of Amman. It was originally established by the Nabataean Arabs, a wandering tribe that decided to make this area their home around the 6th century B.C., thereby creating a commercial empire that spread to Syria. Upon reaching Petra, you’ll begin your adventure on horseback through the canyon leading to the Siq, then continue on foot to observe the most stunning monument: the Treasury. Other notable landmarks include the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, and Pharaoh’s Castle. Petra has also earned its place as one of the New 7 Wonders of the world.

Trip to Petra with my daughter,love it - Very enjoyed the trip, thanks Viator and R&H VIP transport and services,especially for Mustafa the VIP driver, very helpful and so nice person and also nice car for us, too it was so very comfortable car.Mustafa gave us some informations about the trip,he was very kind person and fluently in English and he picked up at the Deadsea area and then after the end of the trip he drop us directly to the airport and we had been treat like VIP guests. Thanks Mustafa and all and c u next time.

From Dead Sea to Petra is not so far - We had private transport by car so the way took about 2,5 hours. It was good.
We had our own pause when we need it. Petra was nice.

Petra transportation - This tour is strictly transportation to and from Petra, from the Dead Sea. That being said, our driver was very kind, pleasant, and professional. This option gave us a more personal experience that avoided touring Petra with a larger crowd, slowing us down, and allowing us to maximize our time in Petra.

Great tour and excellent service. - We enjoyed the Petra tour from the Dead sea and were returned to Amman at our request. The driver Ahmed offered wifi and water. He went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service! His communication was timely and clear. Great job!

Super happy - with our driver Hassan Al-khateb was is perfect we could change the time from the pick up what we needed because we wanted to eat something bevor the long drive. He explained everything wery well and was super nice to us . We could talk to him like we know him. The drive back was also super calm because we were really tired after the long walk but he don't rushed us and bring us safe to the hotel.
+ im auto we have wifi and water al the time

Tour was amazing. I was lucky as... - <p>Tour was amazing. I was lucky as truly private/ exclusive so I could take my time and enjoy. Petra is spectacular.<br/>
Bader my tour driver/guide was excellent and I would recommend him to anyone planning to take this trip or others-he is kind respectful obliging and made me feel safe. I would gladly request for him again.</p>

The driver was a wee bit early, but... - <p>The driver was a wee bit early, but that worked out becqause he let me stay a couple of hours later at Petra. Swift, friendly driver had all sorts of details about the area, since he was from the area! And on the way home he inspired me to take the Dead Sea tour the next day! A good deal.</p>

Dishonest company and guide - It’s a horrible experience.
1. We booked via viator stating our hotel for pick up. It turns out the V&H asked for our confirmation 1am the night before the trip!
2. On our way to Petra, the guide (an obese guy) kept asking if we have plan for lunch and insisting that he can “arrange” that (similar to the previous 1 star comment!).
At the end of the trip, the guide charged us 75 JOD for a 20ish JOD meal!
3. He also “arranged” a visit to a so call souvenir shop which sold rubbish products.
NEVER EVER AGAIN
