Very informative - It is very informative and Sello is very knowledgeable about the area and every inch of soweto. For someone from India it is also very interesting to see the place where Nelson mandela stayed.

Eye-opening and authentic tour that shows you all aspects of Johannesburg - What a fantastic and eye-opening tour! It was only half a day, but I saw and experienced the equivalent to a whole day! The tour guide was very professional, patient and informative. The tour enables you to see all of the different sides of Johannesburg. Visiting the Soweto township was extremely moving and it was so sad to see people living in such poverty but these tours raise awareness and the money for the tour goes towards supporting the people in the townships. People's lives are slowly but surely improving. I think it's so important not to see just the tourist parts but the reality of people's lives. We also saw the typical tourist sights such as the stadium but I learned so much history as well. We stopped off for half an hour at a museum dedicated to the 1976 uprising in Soweto where many people were murdered by police including a 12 year old boy, Hector Pieterson. I learned a lot more about life during the Apartheid. We also visited Nelson Mandela's home. It was fascinating learning more about his life. Afterwards we had a delicious buffet lunch on the street of his home. It was a real chance to interact with locals, learn more about politics and see some traditional Zulu dancing. Amazing experience! Would definitely recommend 👌❤️❤️👏👏👏.

A Fabulous Tour with Prince! - I highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Joburg. Our tour guide was Prince and he was friendly, knowledgeable, funny and very honest with us about the culture and life in South Africa. As a single traveler he made me comfortable right from the first "hello". The van was comfortable, air conditioned and Prince pointed out various landmarks as we made our way to and from Soweto. It was very enlightening. We visited a part of the unorganized and impoverished township on foot and had a chance to stop for a few minutes at a small one room school. I recommend bringing money to donate there - they need it - and the children were so friendly and deserving. I recommend money for tips as well for the various people including Prince who make the trip so memorable. A well spent half day learning about the history of South Africa, apartheid, Mandela, the 1976 Student Massacre and so much more. Thanks Prince

Great experience with the locals in Soweto - My best experience in South Africa. We visited a Township in Soweto and we had the opportunity to talk with the locals. They live in very bad conditions but they still looks happy and positive. The people there is always smiling. Our guide, Ali, had a great knowledge about Johannesburg and he explained us too many things about the history of the country. He’s algo a good driver. I really recommend this experience. Pd: if you can bring some presents for the kids in the township they will love you!! anything will make them happy

Wonderful tour and most excellent tour guide!! - Our guide on the 1/2 day Tour of Soweto, Prince, was an excellent guide! We had some safety concerns about the trip, based on people saying Soweto was dangerous. Prince was friendly, enthusiastic, funny, professional and put us at ease immediately! He is an intelligent young man, who has done his homework! He provided us with many interesting details about Johannesburg and Soweto. He handed us over to another guide, I think his name was Mark, who lead us into the community, also providing us with interesting information about the people who lived there. We had a lovely time meeting the preschoolers who had sang us a song. We took the tour the day we were leaving South Africa. We had a 9 hour wait for the plane. Prince was prompt in picking us up and returning us to the airport. We were all very happy we took the tour. It gave us a better understanding of the people of Soweto, and an insight in to South Africa. I have since done some of my own reading about the country, it's civil rights struggles, and culture. We all gave the tour 10 stars!!
