Visit to Constitution Hill and Apartheid Museum - Our tour guide, Nosipho, was the absolute best! She is knowledgeable, personable and very accommodating. We really enjoyed our time in Johannesburg because she made our experience worthwhile. The sites visited are a must see as they provide insight into the psychological horrors of apartheid and what the South Africans endured. So pleased that this period is over and the country and its people are on the mend.

Very good places, but so so tour - Both sites are definately worth visitng, especially the Apartheid Museum. The driver is good too. However, this 'tour' is actually only transportation between your hotel and the two places, and the entrace ticket isn't that expensive. So if your hotel can arrange a car or taxi for you, no need to join a tour. You would have a bit more flexibility.

This is Just a Taxi Ride - My rating is for the tour, not the museums. They were very good. The trip was effectively a taxi ride with a few landmarks pointed out. Our guide Michael was a very nice fellow, but he kept looking at his mobile which was sitting on the front passenger's seat, while driving. In a country where road safety is questionable, this was very disconcerting. If you can make your own way to the museums safely yourself, then entry is quite cheap. It was also supposed to be an estimated 8 hour trip, which lasted less than 6.
