Don't miss this tour!! - Great tour. Highly recommend. I had the pleasure of Marco as my guide. He's incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the Old City and just about anything else you might ask. I did a private 4 hour tour with him and he tailored the trip to my likes and preferences. He didn't rush me from one thing to the next, allowed me to spend more time wherever I wanted. At the end of the tour I felt like I had really learned and experienced the Old City in a way that I would never have been able to do on my own. I should also mention that the booking process and confirmations/notifications also was a very smooth process.

Just as advertised, this... - Just as advertised, this tour was fully customizable, both before and during the tour! Immediately after booking, I sent a message with basic details about us and 6-7 sites we wanted to see. I also mentioned we were open to any other sites our guide thought we might enjoy. Setting a meeting point was easy, and Saba was easy to find and right on time! At the start of the tour, he shared our tentative itinerary and asked if it met our needs. It did! From there, we headed to the Tower of David Museum, which was the perfect starting point. With timeline visual aids provided by the museum, Saba summarized the chronological history of Jerusalem. This gave context to the rest of the tour, putting each site in perspective. At each site, Saba provided a thorough, yet easy-to-understand explanation of what we were seeing and why it was meaningful. He always stated what were going to do next, and checked in multiple times to see if we needed to take a break, go to the bathroom, or wanted to take a detour to a different site within view. Although he gave us options, we felt zero pressure to curate the trip. We quickly trusted his guidance and felt comfortable asking questions. My boyfriend doesn't usually like tours because he says the guide is usually "too much" or the itinerary feels too packed or "touristy". This was not at all the case. We felt got to see everything we wanted and more, in a private, laid back environment that made us feel like locals. After the tour, my boyfriend said it was the best one he's ever done and Saba was the perfect fit. Furthermore, my boyfriend is from Israel and he was surprised by how little he actually knew about Jerusalem! We highly, highly recommend! Take what you love about all the other tours, and make your own with this one!

Old city tour - Marco was exceptional. His knowledge and friendliness was top notch! I learned so much on my tour and would highly recommend. The history of the Old City is essential to understanding what you see.

Comprehensive tour of the Old City - Marco Alexander sent me the tour in advance which showed a well thought out comprehensive tour of the old city.
He ended up meeting at my hotel a few minutes early and we headed out for a solid seven hours of history, architecture, linguistic and political conversation.
Marco is an expert, thoughtful and patient - he’s teaching without pressure bringing context and periods to life.
He should be your first and second choice on any trip to Israel.

Shaul was Amazing! - This was a great tour. I traveled with me and my 4 y/o and I was treated wonderfully and saw many of the sites in just 4 hrs. My tour guide Shaul was very knowledgeable of the areas and gave us time to have all of the sacred experiences here in Jerusalem. Would 10000% recommend him. He also kept me from being taken advantage of by the locals when in the market and taxi.

Personalised - Excellent and well informed half day walking tour with Souhail George. We only had half day available and he filled every moment. He was able to take us to the Temple mount and gave a detailed tour of the Christian sites. As well as the Jewish.

Amazing tour guide and experience. - Meier led us on an incredible tour of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and the tunnels below the West Wall. He was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We would highly recommend him to anybody looking for a private guide in Jerusalem!
