Great guide but tour could have been better... - Ayel, our guide, and our driver were great. Ayel was extremely knowledgeable about all the sites and provided a lot of detail to increase our understanding. For me, Yad Vashem was the highlight--powerful and emotionally moving! The walking tour through Old City was too heavily focused on "In Jesus's steps" than what I expected. We walked all the stations of the cross, was in the Church of the Holy sSepulchre and many locations of Christian disciples and figures were discussed. We walked thru the moslem quarter, and Armenian quarter was not open to visitors. The Jewish quarter was a brief visit at the Western Wall. I liked learning about the different gates to the city, and I did like Mount of Olives, and the view from there. Ayel effortlessly switched between English and Spanish, and offered advice, or rather warnings, about the street vendors. The itinerary was planned by the tour company, and Ayel took us to where he was directed.

Not what was in the description - I was told that this was a Jewish tour. We did the tunnels, the Kottel that was good. We did not go to any synagogue instead he took us to a church and where the last supper was….
