Additional Information
Craft your personal travel plan as per your preferences. Select 2 or 3 main attractions in Eastern Jeju Island. The half-day (4 hours) tour includes drop off at hotels located in the downtown of Jeju city. There’s an option to extend the tour by 2 hours only. Your transport options span private regular, jumbo, van, or mini-bus. A Korean-speaking driver will accompany you. Fuel and parking charges are included. The baseline area is the downtown of Jeju city. For drop-offs beyond the downtown Jeju City, an extra fee of 30,000 to 120,000 KRW will be charged.
- For each additional hour, it costs 30,000 KRW (regular taxi) to 40,000 KRW (jumbo taxi). Payment is made directly to the driver
- Pickup and drop-off outside of downtown Jeju City will incur an extra charge of 30,000 to 120,000 KRW
- Jeju City Port: 30USD (Regular taxi) to 50USD (Jumbo taxi), payable in cash on the day of the tour
- Seogwipo City Port: 60USD(Regular taxi) to 100USD(Jumbo taxi),payable in cash on the day of the tour
- You can choose between two types of English-speaking drivers: a little English-speaking driver for an additional charge of USD 35 per day or an advanced English-speaking driver for an additional charge of USD 55 per day
- For each additional hour, it costs 50,000 KRW(Van) to 70,000 KRW(Mini-bus). Payment is made directly to the guide
- Please note that if you exceed the tour time, an additional fee will be charged for every 30 minutes. The fees are as follows: Regular taxi - 15,000 won, Jumbo taxi - 20,000 won, Van - 25,000 won, Minibus - 35,000 won per 30 minutes.

Jeju Island half day tour - Great value for money half day tour of the east of Jeju. We booked the tour through Viator. There were 4 of us in the party and we booked a Jumbo Taxi. The driver Mr Oh from Oh Jeong Seon was excellent. He was at the cruise terminal to meet us ahead of schedule. His vehicle was clean inside and out and extremely comfortable. The vehicle was also equipped with high speed WiFi which was ideal for sharing photographs- especially the ones taken by Mr Oh on our behalf.
Throughout the day Mr Oh provided commentary -albeit in “basic” English. He also escorted us around all the places of interest that we visited to provide his own personnel insights

Nice Tour - Very nice tour I would recommend to people which stay in Jeju for a short time. Mr. Kim / David was our driver and he could speak good english even though we didn‘t book and english guide. It was my 2nd time with Lucas Travel.

Loved it! - We were able to hike sunrise peak and do aqua planet in the time allowed and it was great! The only problem, that cannot do anything about, is the drive is long to get there and back to our hotel.

Wonders of Jeju Island - Our driver went out of his way to show us the wondrous sights of Jeju Island. He took us to the pristine beach at Gwaneumsa, the vast lava tubes in the Manjanggul Cave and the remarkable women divers at the base of Sunrise Peak.

Recommend Sunrise Peak and fried chicken! - Driver on time and conveniently picked us up at our hotel. Car was clean. Highly recommend seeing Sunrise Peak on a sunny day (was cold and windy on our day) and hike up. Quite steep hike! Driver dropped us off at Korean fried chicken restaurant BCH near our hotel for dinner. Yummy! Driver, Mr Asa Jeong, was very courteous. Basic English only, but he used Google translator.

Mr. Lee was punctual,... - Mr. Lee was punctual, pleasant, and professional. We especially appreciate him spontaneously changed our planned route so we were able to see more in this side of the island instead of the long drive to the East. He cleverly squeezed several sites into a short four hours tour. The waterfalls, the Temple on the mountain, the vertical lava rock formations, and the beach, all are spectacular in its own way. The color of beach and ocean are so pristine, it’s a slice of heaven. Mr. Lee is the best. One thing we would recommend is that local guide confirms via email 10 days before our tour to ensure we will get it before cruise when we still have internet access. We couldn't receive the one day before confirm email.

DO IT! - Excellent! Jeju is a favourite for Korea. Lucas was our guide. His knowledge of history and culture was amazing. Very accomodating and English was perfect. Highly recommend.

Best Tour Ever!! - AMAZING tour company! This was my second time visiting Jeju. I came to Jeju with my mother and our flight from Seoul was delayed two hours, and the tour company accommodated our schedule with no extra charge! They are very professional and very responsive to messages, unlike other tour companies like Yeha Bus Tour. Our driver Mr. Ko was very friendly and took our photos with suggestions for poses at each location, so our pictures came out cute. At the coast where the wind was strong, my mom and I were squinting our eyes against the wind, and he even brought us sunglasses for us to wear so that the pictures came out good! The next day, our driver was less talkative but spoke very good English, so I think you can request what you're looking for. (I didn't have a preference since I speak conversational Korean.) Such a wonderful tour company, I would book them every time I come to Jeju in the future.
In the past, I used public transportation in Jeju. DO NOT DO THIS. It is very inconvenient and confusing, and you'll wait an hour for the bus and only see a couple of things each day. If a full day tour is too expensive, I would consider this half day tour, because we still saw 3-4 gorgeous sites and had a magical first day in Jeju.

If You Need An English Speaking Guide, Look Elsewhere - Tour Touted as English Speaking Guide…No Such Thing. We had a lovely Korean driver, however. No communication of information about the sites. We were driven there, pointed out an informational sign & the driver said, ‘Be back in one hour’. Poof, he was gone.
Lovely man, but it’s hard to speak into the translator app & let him listen while driving. He answered in Korean too late for the app to translate. Very frustrating. The tour director said we had booked the trip late. I told him if he didn’t have any English speaking guides, he should not have accepted the tour.
We asked for 3 different sites since it was an open ended tour. He tried to divert us to another area. Wore me out. Also sad that because our hotel was far from Jeju City, an additional cost was required.
Interesting, as this was the 2nd tour & the first tour from the same hotel the day before was $20,000 won less. Go figure.
I had great luck with Get Your Guide & the best is Tours By Locals.
