Iho Tewoo Beach - Iho Tewoo Beach, also known as Iho Beach, is the nearest beach to downtown Jeju, offering convenient transportation and well-equipped facilities. The gentle slope of the white sandy beach attracts many vacationers, and the surrounding pine forest is ideal for camping. This beach is renowned for its stunning night views, attracting many evening visitors. Nearby, several seafood restaurants offer fresh raw fish. Visitors can also rent boats for onboard fishing or enjoy reel fishing from the breakwater. The area is popular with anglers, especially for catching the fish known as ‘Mosalchi.’
@Horse Lighthouse@ - Hyeopjae Beach - Located 32 km west of Jeju City, Hyeopjae Beach is adjacent to Hallim Park. The beach features white sand mixed with shell powder, the floating Biyangdo Island, a beautiful cobalt sea, and a dense pine forest, creating a picturesque scene. The beach is approximately 200m long, 60m wide, with an average water depth of 1.2m and a gentle slope of 3-8 degrees, making it ideal for families. It offers various convenient facilities, and camping is available in the pine forest. The southwest coast connects to Geumneung Beach, and locals refer to both as Hyeopjae Beach.
- Handam Coastal Trail - Also known as Gwakgeum Olle Trail, Handam Coastal Trail is a scenic promenade from Aewol Port to Gwakji Gwamul Beach. The 1.2 km trail offers a beautiful coastal walk with waves lapping nearby. In 2009, Jeju City highlighted it as one of 31 representative places in the city, known as a ‘hidden unexplored place.’ The trail features uniquely shaped rocks formed by hardened lava and a winding path along the black rocky coast, enhancing the walking experience. Located on Jeju Island’s west side, it offers stunning sunset views.
- Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road - Situated on Jeju Island’s northwest side, Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road is marked by its offshore wind farm. The white windmills and emerald waters along the winding shoreline exemplify an autumn landscape and eco-friendly energy generation. It’s one of Jeju’s best sunset viewing spots, so bring a camera! The coastal road also features an Ecological Experience Center walking course, with an observation deck for resting and enjoying the view. Walking along this road promises delightful memories and photos.

Yongmeori Coast - 용머리해안 (Yongmeori Coast)
Named for its resemblance to a dragon’s head (‘Yong’ means dragon, ‘Meori’ means head in Korean), Yongmeori Coast is a sandstone bed formed over millions of years. Its mysterious scenery is awe-inspiring. At the coast’s base is a Hamel Monument, established by the Netherlands Embassy and the Korean Foundation on April 1, 1980, to strengthen diplomatic ties and honor Hendrick Hamel’s dedication. @If access to Yongmeori Coast is restricted due to weather, an alternative location is Mt. SONGAK. - O’sulloc Tea Museum - The Osulloc Tea Museum, near the Seogwang tea field in Jeju, is Korea’s first tea museum, opened in 2001 by AMOREPACIFIC to promote tea and Korean traditional tea culture. It blends Eastern and Western, traditional and modern elements, featuring a tea museum, a nature-friendly rest area, and a cafe offering diverse tea-based menus.

Songaksan Mountain - 송악산 (Songaksan Mountain’s peak)
Songaksan Mountain features a cinder cone within its crater and a tuff ring, with a peak depth of 69m, preserving its active form. Once known only to archaeologists, it is now a popular tour destination with many narrow paths. It served as Japan’s forward base during its invasion of China and the last defense line in WWII. Ruins of airfields, hangars, and anti-aircraft artillery remain, with 15 coastal trenches, some naturally decomposed and hazardous. -
Suwolbong Peak - 수월봉 (Suwolbong Geo Trail)
The sunset view from this volcanic cone rivals that of Sarabong Volcanic Cone. From Suwolbong Peak’s observatory, visitors can see Chagwido Island, Songaksan Mountain, Dansan Mountain, and Jukdo Island, and even Sarabong with binoculars. Suwolbong is linked to the Nokdumul legend, a tale of sibling devotion. Nokgo and Suwol, the siblings, sought 100 herbs to cure their mother but couldn’t find the last one, Acanthopanax senticosus. Suwol climbed Suwolbong Peak’s cliff to harvest it.
